I have no words for this, I honestly cannot decide between this and the 1/2000 build by vf_1s. You guys are simply incredible. -Kyp

LOL, yes, this is 1/60 scale. Pre-ordered at AmiAmi, no way in Hell I could pass this up at that price point! -Kyp

I'll worry more about it's accuracy when we see more pics of the fighter mode. I can tell from that pic that the left foot thruster isn't closed all the way, and the the right wing glove isn't pushed down into place as good as the left wing glove, you can tell by looking at how well the Red and Black markings line up between the wing gloves and fuselage in the pic. Also, the right tail isn't pushed up into place all the way in fighter mode either. I'll worry about what looks off and what doesn't more when I see a PROPERLY transformed fighter mode pic. Honestly, I'm just happy to see the legs sit up properly in fighter mode. Also, I bet that the wings will either be straight or much straighter on this sculpt too. -Kyp

I'm pretty sure Ozma's will be released a couple of months later, near the end of this year. -Kyp

LOL...I know, right? Night and day difference, I really want to know who was responsible for the YF-29 and VF-25 redesign. Oh, and a little preview of how I'm hoping the fighter mode will look: I wonder if they used the 1/72 model as reference when they made the YF-29 and VF-25 V2... -Kyp

I'm hoping mine will be here by this Saturday, otherwise, it won't be coming in till after the 4th. Has anyone here built one yet? -Kyp

That comparison picture says it all, no need for words. I expected as much, hopefully I'll be able to get the armored pack for the "S" model, and super packs for the other 3. -Kyp

Holy Christ, SPOT. ON. That is THE most accurate Battroid mode I've ever seen compared to the line art. If the fighter mode looks as good, then SHUT THE FRAK UP AND TAKE MY GODDAMNED MONEY!! -Kyp

Interesting that someone made a model of it, but I've always thought that design was hideous. -Kyp

Damn, this thing looks to be full of win for anyone who likes the design. Now I really can't wait to see what they do with the VF-25 V2. -Kyp -

Already asked/begged for the same thing, I see I'm not alone, lol. -Kyp

YES!!!!!!!! I passed on the V1's because of the chock full of fail that was the sculpt, never mind all the other issues they ended up having. PLEASE have the legs lock into place in fighter mode and actually sit up where they're supposed to this time...pretty please?! -Kyp

I've thought about doing just that, but I never got around to it. I figure someone here will sooner or later. -Kyp

The same guy that built my dark Viper built this as well. It's based on a sig pic he found... I think it turned out great, he's offered to sell it to me, but I think I'll pass on this one.

Thanks, I don't think I made it very clear in my post, but just to make sure, this isn't my build, it's a build I had commissioned several months ago from a builder that goes by the name of probuilder41. I also agree, the actors seemed to age a lot in just 5 years, but that could also be attributed to the daily stress of being on set of a popular series. -Kyp

Rather than making a separate thread, I thought I'd post this here, it's a dark paint schemed Viper Mark II build that I had commissioned several months ago. I often thought that the Mark II would look good with a dark Grey paint scheme similar to the Mark VII, and I think it turned out great. You'll notice that not all the decals are on this build, the reason for that is mainly because most of them wouldn't show up against the dark Grey paint, so they were left off. The registry numbers and pilot's name plate decals were left off because I didn't want this to be stuck as either a "Starbuck" or "Apollo" build. -Kyp

Oh, can I play? This is my go to saber, it was made by JGJSabers and uses a Crystal Focus Saber Core (V5) sound board, and has a Green Rebel for the main LED. As you can see in the last picture, it's very evenly lit, even though it's being lit from the emitter and there's no LED string in the blade. And yes, it's a long hilt, 14 inches, but the balance point is around the third black ring down from the emitter. This makes the saber very fast even one handed, but you can really put some power behind a two handed swing due to the hilt length. My second saber is a saber from one of the characters in the Star Wars novels, Corran Horn. In the novel "I, Jedi", he builds his lightsaber from a speeder bike handle and other used parts. Madcow of Genesis Custom Sabers, designed this hilt in a very limited run of 11, and his video for it can be seen here: Attached are pics of mine, #2 of the 11 that were made. There was the option to either have it clean or weathered, and since it was described in the novel that the parts were all used parts, I opted for the weathered version. The saber is using a lessor version of the Crystal Focus sound board, called a Petite Crouton. You can only put one sound font on the micro SD card at a time, rather than the 6 saber sound fonts you can put on the Crystal Focus sound board's SD card. Still an awesome board none the less. I'll post a video of what my green saber can do later today. -Kyp
