1/48s rule!

I could always remove the visor... muh hoo hah hah... (evil laugh) When I decal the rest of the Valk we should do another photo shoot.

That hurt. I put al ot of hours into that custom valk. Those Gold visors don't just grow on trees:) Seriously though it is a very subtle warm grey much warmer than the Low Viz I color, but matches the original custom done in japan in 1/72.

I thought about that. But I think the clear styrene would have a tendecy to want to pop out of it's curved shape, plus be hard to glue down. Probably vacu forming would be a viable option. I actually never thought that dremeling down the visor would work but figured I'd give it a shot, and the reslurms where pretty good.

The visor was quite a bit of work I had to dremel out a cavity in the head and then used some Kotobukiya verniers cut and glue them in place and paint them silver. But the most difficult part was dremeling out the original visor from a wedge shape to just a paper thin piece that had to be glued over all the details I added and painted with transparent green.

You should do a custom EXO pilot - with a tiny voice chip that says witty EXO lines of dialogue.

NMB4M Incredible Hanger you have there. The 1D looks right at home next to the TH. The whole paint process was a rush job so I didn't take any pics. The color I used for the valkyrie was Tamiya Primer grey. The Gold Visor was a reflective adhesive gold mylar I got at the art supply store. It works really well - aside some grumbling from one A-hole that shall remain nameless.

It really does shine in Battroid mode. Hope they make a V.2 of the 1/48 line.
