  1. btw, anyone think they'll make a Seven swords/G version of this one? that's about the only 00 design I actually like.
  2. Noisy, smelly, heard to maintain vehicles that get 12mpg when gas is $4.00+ for regular are AWESOME.
  3. So almost completely exposed instead of completely exposed.
  4. Look at the cockpit canopy that's completely exposed in Battroid mode!!! Also look at the crappy stand they're still using from the DX-25.
  5. Skywarp man! How can you forget Skywarp?!?
  6. That was my interpretation.
  7. um, Macross 7 came out in 1994. 1994 = the 80's
  8. I love how for all the big talk of learning from their mistakes and rectifying problems with the DX-25, they're still using the same undersized blob with a barber smock for a pilot. It may have better perportions and articulation than the DX-25 but I guarantee you this is going to be just as much of a paint shedding, floppy mess as the other DX's.
  9. I like how my local TRS and Target are actually going BACKWARDS with releases. about a week or two ago TRS was mostly early wave 2010 stuff and a hand full of Generations toys, now it's ENTIRELY old ROTF releases. As for target, the few G2 primes and RTS bumblebee's they had have been replased by... War for Cybertron Megatron
  10. I would say that's a VERY good thing. I love it.
  11. I like plug and play. having all the parts fit together the first time so you can get strait to painting and detailing is a lot more fun than hours of tedious test fitting and modifying and puttying and sanding and puttying and sanding and puttying and sanding and puttying and sanding and... That said, Kotobukiya kits are poorly engineered and made from shit plastics.
  12. No way, that looks totally legit to me.
  13. except that they've shown picks in magazines of it with fast packs.
  14. That's another thing, If it's so similar to SDF:M that you can just look at the pictures and know whats going on, what's the point of getting it at all when I can just watch SDF:M again?
  15. They don't. The arrows point from the VF-25 towards the YF-29. I think it's all a thinly veiled admission that the DX-29 does in fact reuse parts from the DX-25. In other news the DX-29 still looks like crap and is going to be a crap toy just like every other DX to date.
  16. frankly, this is the dumbest logic I've ever heard. As a customer, saying "I'll give you my money if and only if you provide the goods or survives I want" is the only way you get a company to listen to you. Throwing money blindly at them like sheep and then asking for something better will get you no where. The company in question doesn't give a sh*t what you want once they've made a profit off you. I'll support a company/product when it meets my needs. A book that I can't read does not meet my needs so I don't support it, simple as that. :edit: and I'm not demanding that people post up free scanlations or whatever, I'm just say that I have no interest in a book I can't read and will just choose not to read it.
  17. throw it in the trash, you'll feel much better.
  18. They're Katoki redesigns of the 5 lead gundams from the first half of the series originally drawn around the same time Endless waltz came out. The thing is, the GUndams that show up in Endless Waltz (wing zero, deathscythe hell, altron etc. etc.) are supposed to be the same gundams that the pilots are using at the end of the series. the Look different because they're drawn by Katoki and not Okawara, but they're the same robots and for the purposes of the Endless waltz narrative they always looked like that. To that end, Katoki drew up redesigns of the original 5 gundams to match the aesthetics of the redesigned mid-season upgrades that actually do show up in EW. So basically, they are supposed to be what the original 5 gundams looked like within the Endless Waltz version events. :edit: as for the whole "Custom" thing, tacking the word custom onto the end was purely a marketing thing done by Bandai to differentiate the old Endless waltz model kits from the TV show model kits. In terms of the story, The Deathscythe Hell you see in the OVA is the same Deathscythe hell that you see at the end of the TV series. They just look different so Bandai can sell more model kits.
  19. it's from the VF-1 Master file book. they show that in addition to swinging up and down, they can also pivot open VF-0 style. :edit: borrowing this pic from the model section
  20. So lots of BS and lies to get the fans all excited before they kick us in the collective balls again with their crappy toys and failure to deliver. yeah... not falling for it this time Bandai.
  21. BotCon 2011 Motor Master is Voyager Prime The box set is kind of amazing so far, but not quite $350+ amazing.
