    I have the standalone and not the Super/Strike bundle but mine had several fit issues right out of the box. The nosecone didn't fit right; the wing flaps fell off if you looked at them funny; and the trap door in the nose, the front and rear landing gear doors and the air brake flap would all flop open at the slightest touch.

    Something mildly interesting: http://www.hlj.com/product/aca01014 so the Neuromancer Line did in fact not die with Yamato and now has a slightly less silly name. I've never cared for Rei, but if they do an Asuka and/or Mari I'll be all over it.

    Stealth 1J is a decent looking scheme but it's a rickety as hell toy in my experience.

    Got my Yoko figure today. The paint and sculpt are lovely and she comes with a really nice stand. She's like a really big, weighty Figma. only bad thing is that a bunch of the joints are really loose. I took it apart to try and add some super glue, hopefully it helps.

    Me and my 360 Elite will be soldiering on well into the foreseeable future apparently. The PS4 has nice hardware but I don't care about any of the games that it'll launch with. The only games shown at E3 I actually care about are Watchdogs and Halo 5 (and watchdogs is getting a 360 release anyways so it's a moot point).

    No idea. The whole reason I went with registered SAL in the first place was because it was $15 less than EMS at the time I placed my order. but the updated order info on their site says shipment method: FedEx and the order total only went from $203 to $208. oddly, the last time I ordered something that shipped FedEx, the scheduled delivery date was for Monday, but they dropped it off on Saturday anyways. FedEx is the only place I've seen that sets a delivery date then delivers packages early.

    your point being? I'm happy because it's games I want. I lost my copy of Halo 3 years ago and I've been meaning to play Assassins creed 2 for the longest time but never got around to it. Also, I just paid for a year of XBL three weeks ago before I knew about this so for me they are free.

    Honestly, with no markings and the tri-color stripes it looks really good. If the final product looks like that I'll probably pick one up. I would want to throw on the "VF-1 VALKYRIE SINCE 1982" text on the legs because that looks awesome.

    Was this a problem with the 171EX? I don't have mine on hand to check but I don't remember this being an issue. Wonder why it would come up now? Could they really have had mild degradation that quickly?

    They deliver Saturday but not Sunday here. They also deliver kind of early which used to be a problem but now there's always at least one person in the house to sign for things so it's a bit better now. I prefer UPS if I have the choice.

    I originally had it set to ship Registered SAL (with tracking number). I asked them to ship it either EMS or FedEx, which ever one was cheaper, and when they got back to me (which took less than 3 hours BTW) they said FedEx would be the cheaper option. when I checked my account the order had already updated and the extra charge was already taken care of.

    Well, I contacted NY about changing my shipping. they went ahead and upgraded me to FedEx, only cost me $5. worth it IMO.

    My average wait time with SAL is 22 days from collection to final delivery. with EMS it's like 7.

    As mentioned, 0083 is a retroactive bridge piece between 0079 and Zeta. it does provide justification as to why the Titan's (the main antagonist force in Zeta) were formed and it had lots of cool looking stuff, but IMO it was one of the least interesting Gundams from a narrative and character standpoint. Ignore this, ZZ Gundam is both an integral part of the UC timeline and a legitimately good show in it's own right. It just get's a lot of irrational hate for having a lighter tone than zeta or 0079.

    even though I already payed out the butt for this, I'm wondering if it's too late to have NY upgrade my shipping. I don't know if $15 is worth the agonizing wait for SAL shipping.
