    Robotech, Voltron, Force Five, and Star Blazers were the shows that introduced me to the wonderful world of Japanese anime. I love these "classics" IMHO.

    This thread is way too long, so I haven't read through ... so apologies if this has been asked before: Can someone comment on the Takara Japanese re-issues of the Generation 1 "classic" transformers? They come in a white window box (similar to Toynami's MPC boxes). Are they any good? I mean like quality material-wise. And are the toys accessible, like Toynami/Yamato, or if I open the box, I won't be able to re-seal the toy, MIB? Reason I ask is because I am debating whether to buy one or not. Thanks in advance folks,

    Well, if the rumours are true and JJ Abrams (aka creator of LOST and Alias) is really working on the new Trek flick, you can expect a more character driven plot, and so-so action. Premise is good ... but then again, I was really let down by MI:3.

    Another cool thing I liked about Southern Cross was the team interaction/humour between the ATAC 15th squad: Bowie, Louie, Sean, Dante & Dana. Plus, Nova was hot!!

    I liked Event Horizon ... more horror than sci-fi, but I was entertained.
