HW Japan have them for 6400Y but they only have Ozma in stock at the moment.
Both decal sheets are included.

Is this like nerdom's equivalent to a biggest dick competition?
As I don't drive a Porsche, only a porsche eater
my dick is quite adequate thanks.
On the toy front absolutely nothing but on the model front just over A$6K.

Hi im a new member but im a robotech fan,
Welcome.
Stay here long enough and I'm sure we can cure you of that problem

Please, can everyone read this thread before posting further on this? Thanks.
Interesting, thanks. I noted that some of the prime offenders also had their 2 bobs worth to say in that thread as well.

There is a customer for everything. Whether it looks good or bad there is always a customer. Yamato has proven that time and time again, just like our resident customizers.

The search function works, all YOU have to do is read through the results.
Or just use usual forum form and wait until someone else does it for you

I thought ebay bans all KO auctions now, like they did for tranny toys.
Only if the copyright owners insist otherwise they couldn't give a sh1t. Banning things does not make them money

If you do a search I'm pretty sure you'll find what you're after as this has been discussed a few times in the past.

I think one of the awesome things about America is the freedom/ability to do what you like with your property. If you want to trade your Yellow Sub 1/48 Perfect Detail Valkyrie for a house, and you find some sucker to trade you for it, that's just fine. Free commerce and competition is what makes a better product. - MT
That's about all a house is worth in the US at moment anyway
In Aus we like to sell people the Sydney Harbour bridge

Maybe these might help

Wait - what "set" is being refered to here?

On the issue of boxes, I guess I'm something of a contrarian because when it comes to a lot of vintage Macross,Mospeada, etc models, I place infinitely more value on the box/artwork than the actual kits within, which are, in my opinion, junk.
Absolutely, couldn't agree more.

he said nose cone not cock pit
I'd say the only "cock pit" around here is your house

I reckon it looks pretty ordinary
Certainly wouldn't pay 15540Y for it.

WTF are you talking about. What series?
At least there is an attempt at punctuation this time
-
Hmm, interesting so in your ideal world people are not allowed to buy and sell model kits for a profit
So where are you going to buy your models from, as I'm sure the various retailers are not going go "Oh here comes Chas we better sell him our models at a loss otherwise we'll be branded scum of the earth speculators"
And just for the record I collect far more models than I make with an emphasise on short run resin kits that will, over time be worth far more than I paid for them. Eventually they will be sold (nothing lasts forever) and with the money I make I'll be sure to have an extra cray or two as I'm feeding off the bottom.

To add some "intellectual content" to this thread (which is seemingly about nothing). I'm taking a Total Quality Management course this semester and I was really tempted to write my term paper on "The Exploding Shoulder: Why Grown Men like valkyries."I have a greater respect now for anything that's mass-produced in any sort of factory because maintaining something at a specific quality standard - with 6 sigma deviation being the goal everyone wants (that's 3.4 defects per million.... lol Yamato has a bit ways to go
) - is truly a difficult undertaking.
We're learning about Taguchi's Loss Function and Signal to Noise Ratio in manufacturing now, and basically in any sort of shop environment there will always be X amount of factors you cannot control "the noise." The idea is to create your product design and processes in a way to minimize the impact of the "noise." When your stated purpose is to create something that looks artistically beautiful on a CG, this can be somewhat challenging.
Random variation is a nature of life. Even the butterfly effect can come into play. A guy sneezing in a remote observation post in Antartica can cause your valkyrie to magically implode.
Lovely theory that, but once you get out into the real world it's just that theory.
As long as the item lasts past warranty and the stock holders wallets are nice and fat most places couldn't care less. I soon had all the fluffy goodness that I learnt at uni flushed out once I was at the coal face.
Anyway back on topic.
Firstly, VFTF1 do you ever give a short answer
although at least you use sentences. You must a dedicated student of Tolstoy.
Secondly, +1 for the punctuation. shadow strikers it's not hard to use the shift, caps and . , ? keys. Go on give it a try, you'll be amazed, people just might take time to read what you've got to say and even understand it

If anyone is interested cdJapan have Tereus on sale for 7543 yen

Man, between this and the possible Capt release in the next few months...
Hey it's only money and remember one of the most important things:
He who dies with the most toys wins!

The pdf. Don't think there ever was a preview.
-
Was anyone able to download the anniversary book preview before it was "sanitized"? Wasn't able to keep a copy so I'd appreciate a link.
Yes and there's not that much difference.
Edit: just did a back to back page comparison and the only difference between the original and V2 is pg 92. The original had a picture of the cover of the Introductory Box Set (25th Anniversary Edition) which shows a Warhammer getting hammered and V2 has a picture of the forthcoming Clan Expansion Box Set which shows a Mad Dog dishing out a bit of pain.
ALL other pics of the so called unseens ARE still there.

I'll go for one, always room for one more box of resin bits
Wouldn't sweat the V1 owners feeling miffed. Improvement is a fact of life. You don't see car makers holding back on improvements just because it might upset the owners of last years model.
what tips do you have for finding great deals on your macross collecti

Can't see how you get great deals from them when they sell at retail and their normal postage costs are beefed up quite a bit. There are plenty of other places that have their normal pricing anything up to 30% off retail. The only time HLJ prices are good is when they have their free postage deals or they are trying to off load stock that doesn't sell.
