G'day, I've got a question for all the wise heads that frequent this thread.
What's the difference between Gundam Markers and Gundam Real Touch Markers please?
-
Having just powered through Gundam Seed Destiny I have a hungering to build the ships. I'm after EX kits of the Minerva & the Eternal please.
I'd prefer new, unstarted but as long as all the pieces are present and it's not damaged I'll consider partly assembled.

Started watching Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Not sure what it has to do with bubblegum though.
As the saying goes they are ready to kick arse and chew gum and they are fresh out of gum so that's a bit of a crisis for the boomers

I've just finished Gundam Seed Destiny (better late than never I suppose) and whilst it was pretty good for the most part the constant flashbacks and rehash episodes started to wear a bit thin (it's been a while since I watched Seed but I didn't think it over did the flashbacks). IMHO the ending was way too rushed and a bit confusing. Why didn't they use some of the time wasted in the flashbacks and rehashes to make the ending better
I suppose they were trying to save money and pad the show out to 50 episodes
The extra final episode Chosen Future was a total waste of time until about 4 minutes to the end. Oh well on to either Gundam X, Turn A or Victory. -
you misunderstood.
I was asking if the V was worth the purchase and just referred to the post with rhe pic
Well why did you quote my comment and not the picture

-
Thank you but ah pretty much everyone is aware of dalong.
He does have the nicest displayed toys of most collectors
Whilst I'm sure "pretty much everyone is aware of dalong", my reply was to Pete who was looking for some pictures of a completed 1/400 White Base and as mine will be still living in its box for some time I thought that would be the next best thing.
Maybe you had a unique experience but these two professional Gunpla Reviewers just don't convince me that again Katoki cant make gundams
I have canceled my purchases and decided to go with Musha Gundam Mk-II MG 1/100 and Kotobukiya Armored Core NX08 OMER Type-Lahire STASIS
Not sure what you're on about

I was just commenting on the pose he had model in and anyway the person who the comment was aimed at got my meaning

-
Check this bloke out. Site is in Korean but it's pretty easy to follow and he's got just about every Gundam kit known to Man

The 1/400 White Base is in the ETC section.

I guess he kind of looks like he's dancing... but now I finished his gun, and also attached his shield :-) Am currently building Guncannon. Arms done... I'm dreaming of the 1/400 White Base...but alas...the one at BBTS has been bought by somebody... maybe one day I'll be able to find it AND afford it at the same time :-)
Pete
It goes well with the Musai

There is one up for grabs on ebay but it's a bit of a rip off, I seem to remember paying only around A$195 for mine and they are asking US$499

-
Be it ever so humble, there's nothing like Victory Gundam.

Pete
Didn't know they did a John Travolta version

-
Gee don't we enough "Look at me" threads already
 -
-
They are not Gundam so don't hold your breath

-
Thanks. I'll let it go for now. Wasn't too sure about the runner bit but the instructions in a binder was what made me ask.
-
G'day, might be interested but can you tell me if this is an original or a copymaster recast. Thanks.
-
I've suffered from moe overload just lately so I just whipped out some old school mecha action with a rewatch of Gundam and Macross. Next in line is Southern Cross then Mospeada.
By the end of that lot I'll be ready for some more Moe-On

1/100 HY2M-MG Vol. 06 (Gundam Ez-8, Gouf Custom, Gelgoog)
Don't believe HLJ when they say an item is discontinued. I've gotten plenty of things from HWJapan that HLJ reckon are discontinued. Apart from the odd sale HWJapan dumps all over HLJ. Their web site is not as fancy but if you know what you want just do a name search. They are totally flexible with altering orders and changing postage and they have a real time (or as close it can get) stock level indicator.

Pretty sure he's a member here. Might have to look into some of his Battletech scale macross figures

-
You can get it here: gendou
Or you can listen to this version: Momoi Halko
-
Strange to see Noa's Ingram going cheaper than Ota's

I'm afraid a decal sheet that doesn't even match any of the sale items doesn't make those prices any better for me

-
Josey Wales leaves this for dead

Most clear coats aren't a special formula or anything---they just don't have pigment.
That's a bit simplistic and not quite true.
@OP; You could try using a polyurethane based clear that is sold in art shops. It does provide a fairly scratch proof finish but you have to be careful using it as some of them can be quite thick and can clog up detail if you get too heavy handed.
I used Jo-Sonja's polyurethane matt on my Warhammer figures as I was sick of them getting chipped all the time during the heat of battle. Worked like treat, never had to touch up any chips again.

Edit: One more thing you can rub down the surface with 600 or finer (400 if you are using matt) to aid with adhesion and still get a smooth finish as the clear will fill the sanding marks.

please some one let the onrush of superhero films end.......also they need the little girl from "adventures in babysitting" do a cameo
If they did that then someone would have to come up with a new idea

I can't see that happening as the current line of thinking seems to be, why be original when you can rip off something that's already been done. Do it twice as bad and make twice as much money

-
Ho Hum. Just another movie I won't be watching

-
It's a Cospa T, so if you have any you'll know what the material and print is like. For dimensions check out cdJapan.

I've got one and to be quite honest I'm a bit underwhelmed by it so I really haven't had the motivation to assemble it
I certainly won't be jumping on the mold milking band wagon and as someone else mentioned I've had my fix via 1/72
