  1. I was looking around for macross plus dvd and saw amazon.com has them. They have the 2 dvd's with im assuming 2 episodes each, then the movie, they also have this http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B0009IOQXK/re...4560137-3400937

Im not sure if it contains all 4 episodes of the series because 1 guy siad that it had the movie in the box, so i thought id ask.

I'm pretty sure it's only the Perfect Edition that has both the series and the movie in the one set.

  2. You can also try here for the original Macross TV Madman The price is in $AUS so it's not too bad, it's approx $95US + post.

You'll need a region free player though.

It has 3 booklets with the linear notes, characters, mecha & songs. This one is on 6 dvd's but it's a legit release of Animego's remaster.

  3. In the TV series I got the impression that a space fold is instantaneous

In the episode where Hikaru & Co were taken to the Bodal fleet HQ (First Contact I think) I remember Misa saying something like they'd been folding for a long time so they must have travelled a long way, so I'd say folding isn't instantaneous.

  4. "Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos

1992 comedy series spun off from Australia's Funniest Home Video Show, hosted by Doug Mulray. This show was actually cancelled during its first episode when Nine Network owner Kerry Packer reportedly called the station and personally ordered them to "get that poo off the air." After the plug was pulled, they went to a commercial break, and two re-runs of Cheers or Married With Children (depending on the source) was aired instead. It is understood that Packer was alerted to the program by several of his personal friends at a dinner.

Remember this all too well unfortunately

It was a shocker in more ways than one. Poor old Doug Mulray never really recovered from being canned in such a spectacular way :p

  5. G'day, I'm after the following Yamato 1/60's to complete my collection please:

    VF-1S Roy Focker Strike

    VF-1D Thanks agr33 :D

VF-1J with GBP Thanks emerson :D

    Q-Rau Max

Would prefer tight, no stickers applied displayed only. Box not all that important but will consider anything if the price is right

  6. Just finished watching Gunparade March.

Short & sweet. Great opening theme song :D Hard to say what made it good as nothing really jumped out and grabbed me, I just enjoyed everything about it. Mecha action was a bit repetative though, slash the guts open, stick in the big bomb and blow the big bug to kingdom come.

The relationship between Mai Shibamura & Atsushi Hayami was a bit reminisant of Hikaru & Misa although Hayami was more of a sap than Hikaru.

Oh and did I mention great opening theme

  7. Please be wary of buyitnow2010 on ebay.

I purchased what I was led to believe was a genuine Club M 1/48 Strike Ultimate detail kit. It turned out to be a recast done by a company called Copy Master.

I am trying to sort this out with them but they are adament that the the kit is a Club M re-issue and not a copy.

  8. Thought I was getting the deal of life time when I brought what I thought was a Club M 1/48 Ultimate detail VF-1S of ebay. Turns out I was badly mistaken. It's a recast <_<

The quality is pretty good but all the original white metal pieces are in resin and there is only one decal sheet with a photocopy stencil for the fuselage & wing colour sections.

What I'd like to know from those of you who are in the know about these sort of things (I'm obviously not one of you  ) is what would a kit like this be worth, as I'm trying to get the person who conned me into thinking it was the real thing to give me some money back.

    Thanks in advance, Greg.
