Have you collected the right valk to get final satisfaction?

My reaction to YF-28 = And by the time my Update Scanner alerted me it was already sold out. -b.

Hmmm... Anyway, still waiting on HLJ to throw this up. If I can score one there then I'm good, otherwise I'll just wait until just before or just after release. -b.

Ditto to what most everyone has already responded with. And even if, or when, you think you've collected that "one" something else gets announced and released and you're right back to square one. Add to that the almost constant revisions and re-releases with updates and fixes and etc. you're hooked for life. Hell I'm guessing that 90% of my discretionary budget goes into Macross. -b. -
Dunno, but my most vivid memories of Ultra Magnus are from Transformers: The Movie. To me he was such a jerk/ineffective leader in that one he was damn near a bad guy anyway. But seriously, I hope not and that it's just fan speculation or misinformation from Bay, otherwise...well, shrugs. -b.

Congrats! There is something about a new purchase, one that you really wanted, that brings out the enthusiasm for collecting. -b.

For those still looking, and not wanting to pay any over suggested retail to scalper prices there is still plenty of reason to be optimistic. 1) HLJ pre-order, once it goes up 2) AmiAmi release stock and perhaps even another round of pre-orders 3) Hobby Search release stock and perhaps even another round of pre-orders 4) *Insert Name of online store here* release stock and perhaps even another round of pre-orders 5) Mandarake for anything from a MISB with a dinged box to ones that are MIB to gently used 6) Someone here will list one for sale from either extras or after opening it and finding that they don't like it or need to sell it Apologies for being repetitive above, just trying to illustrate reasons why folks can still secure this at a reasonable price. The only reason to get really worked up at this point is that the pre-order discounts of 10 to 15% from stores like AmiAmi, which usually has the best pre-order price, will be hard to come by. Just don't wait months after release, by then it's a fair assumption to think the prices will have risen well above SRP. -b.

Then I guess I imagined the orders I've placed personally (FIRST run) where I didn't have a limit of 1. -b. *edit, it was one order, but still

Re: NY, that's not accurate, at least not for this release. I've never noticed Nippon-Yassan to impose a quantity limit on Bandai's Macross Renewal line. In fact that's how a lot of people are able to tell how many quantity NY has in stock. I've seen HLJ, AmiAmi and Hobby Search limit quantities but even then it's not always that they do so(and as far as I know AmiAmi is the only one that limits one of an item per account vs. one limit per order). At different times/releases I've ordered multiple of the same unit from each of them, sometimes on one order, others at different - same login and same shipping address. Again, good luck to those still looking - people here have already listed some good info on how to try and secure one at pre-order and then post-release. -b.

The good folks over at TFW2005 put together a bunch of hi-res screenshots from the Super Bowl trailer. For you know, those who might actually be interested in seeing (vs. just ragging on) the movie ; http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-just-movie-31/transformers-age-of-extinction-teaser-detailed-hd-images-179224/ Enjoy! -b. *edit added the link w even MORE pictures for people to enjoy (or hate on)

EXACTLY! Logic and sensibility be damned - I will love this movie only for the fact that Optimus is riding Grimlock, hell I'm laughing even as I type this. -b.

Noticed a difference to, but I just attributed it to the filmmakers wanting a slightly different look for the CGI. C'mon, it's Prime riding Grimlock! / -b.

Looks good! I say if you still feel the need to tinker a bit then go for it. It sounds like you have the itch to keep going but if anything sleep on it and decide then. -b.- 12 replies

Everyone, everywhere should wait it out so that I can get a good night's rest, wake up and pre-order 2 or 3 from whichever site has the best pre-order price. -b.

Interesting. I'm glad you posted that clip Azrael, it's been so long since I've seen any portrayal of Alfred (live action or animated) other than Michael Caine it was hard for me to wrap my head around seeing Jeremy Irons in the role. Jessie E. as Lex Luthor is a harder sell. If they are going to make Lex like a real-life 20-30 something billionaire then I guess, otherwise the casting choice just seems off. But hey, that seems to be the theme for this one... -b.
