Yep, those are the weathering tools that I used. I haven't put any clear coat yet but I like it the way it is. I may want to do some more touch up on details later. Maybe someone with more experience can share on putting clear coat over the weathered area. The weathering stick is a bit more expensive but should worth the money. I preferred brush. Cheers. ikhii

It's actually weathering powder by Tamiya. Not too bad for a quick weather. Here's something for every Destroid lovers.

Thanks guys for the encouragements. Will continue deliver some good photos and macross weathered toys later. Here's my defender after weathering and stickers. It's not as much work as the OG TH and I don't really like the yellowish color actually. I can't wait for the OG defender and will surely be better looking with contrast stickers and weathering. Anyway, hope you guys like it. Will do some simple QTVR after I finish all my Valks and that will surely take more time. Cheers, ikhii

Here are some of my destroids photos. I weathered the OG Tomahawk and applied stickers on it. It took me the entire day just to apply the stickers but worth the time. The weathering took me another day. Applied some metal stretches effects on it. Not sure if you guys could see it. I do have to comment on Yamato's sticker though. It's not really that great and I wish they could give us water decals as well. Something like Bandai's 1/72 MF kits. Enjoy. Love my destroids and will weather all of them later. Cheers. ikhii

Oh, just got my family of 1/60. Transformed the Hikaru 1S and it's awesomely tight. Everything is as if it's perfect. No broken bones or something like that. I guess it would be the 'perfect' valk at the moment to me. I hope the coming ones would be better build. Anyway, now broke already so need to go back to cave man mode. Will shoot some good photos later.

Great idea, I'm in for the tv series edition. I just hope it won't turn up 'limited edition'. No 'limited edition please.

Thanks guys for your encouragements. Hi JLYC, it is actually a big surprise to me as well. The gray areas are stock gray and it looks just nice as they pop up just right. Just apply the silver metallic color on it and use some cotton bud and 'magic'. looks just good. I won't say perfect as I didn't spend enough time on it. I love this kit and my next attempt would be on Alto. A great stuff from Bandai on this one. Just adore the details. Cheers. ikhii

Here is something i wish to share also.

Hi guys, This is my first attempt to do the kit. The transformation took too much time. If I have an air brush, i can do justice to the kit. But for now, I guess all i can do is use some paints and do some final touch on panel lines and a bit of weathering. Will do my Alto later and hope will turn out better. I used some metallic pen to do some metal effects. Won't last but looks ok. Enjoy the photos. Cheers. ikhii

My family member of 1/60 has grown... put in some other stuff as background. Love the 1/60. Everything is tight. 1J is a bit too tight on the shoulder. Waiting for more to come. ikhii

Hi Miriya, It's actually from a set of airport toys. I got that particular one which carry luggage. Just change a bit. Will stick some macross decal later on the vehicle. I wish Yamato would create the entire garage set for us later. It would be fun for me to shoot. Cheers.

To get my mind off a tense and moody day, due to some idiotic reasons, I took some photos to release my tension. Finally i got my YF19 and also VF1S (some sort) 25th Anniversary. Check out the pics below. My Latest collection from 25th Anniversary. Hurray.... err... wait... Well, I guess that's one of the reason why VF1S didn't appear in the story. He was a bit embarrassed by the incident. :lol: Oh... you have to get this bird. It's one of the best stuff that yamato has done. Really love it. p.s. Now that i got a new camera and a better flash, i can continue my QTVR again. yeh...hope i got the time to finish few good ones by the end of this month.

wow. nice job my friend. Maybe you could put a more contrast color valk against the background. Darker valk like Max or Millia color. It would look really nice. But overall, superb.
