  1. Another pic. Most of the super glue was concentrated on the nubs that secure the cover in place. Fortunately it’s not on the rest of panel underneath. After scraping that glue off with an xacto knife it became much easier to install and remove. Now I’m curious about the missile section...

  2. After taking the picture I snapped it back together and immediately regretted it. It's very hard to pull apart again despite breaking the glue off. Perhaps that's why they decided to just glue it together? Who knows.

  3. @borgified @Chaos I decided to take one for the team and take mine apart. After a lot of twisting and turning to free the panels from the glue, I can see detailing along the sides that matches what's shown in the video. It does look like the intent was to have this cover open but for whatever reason they used to much glue and sealed it off. I'm still trying to pry it apart and confirm. I'll let you know if I succeed or not.

  4. I’m not convinced. I think you need to take pics of the vf-1 in battroid mode standing next to the Patlabor. Front. Back. Side pics. Maybe just remove the VF-1 entirely and show more pics of the patlabor and I might change my mind.

  5. I'll probably try this on my duplicates Max 1A. I wonder if he straight up used that tamiya panel wash which I have or that water based one which has been recommended here but I can't seem to find any stateside. (I forgot the name)

Yeah.... I really needed that image burned into my brain... I don't think I'll ever be able to look at this meme the same way again. Thanks..

Malcom in the Middle was a classic in the genre of "Thank God My Life/Family Isn't That Bad".

Interesting. So I guess the show ‘Shameless’ could be a modern interpretation?

I put my second Hikkie up there as a placeholder for the next 1A release.

You're a brave soul to put that much weight on a yeti stand.   I might just be camera angle but I think that long yeti arm might be bending as the nosecone of that VF is pointing up at a higher angle than the kaki.

You can still get the pilots for the model even if you are not subscribed to Hachette.

All you need to do is cut the number labels from volumes 1 to 30, stick them in the self-made envelope of volume 30 and send it to Hachette’s headquarters. Valid only in Japan though.

I wonder. Do you think this is something that could be done with a Tenso address?
