I just got my Metal Structure fin funnels and wing Snow White. I was completely wrong about the funnels and not being able to add more than two. With a little modification (using a screw driver) you can add as many as you want. I think the only limiting factors here would be weight/stress on the backpack where the fins connect. You can add two at a time.

That's what the customer reps are saying. I've never had that experience with a shipment taking more than a day in customs with FedEx. I hope they didn't misplace it.
They opened it. Played with it. And now they’re trying to figure out how to get it back in the box without it being too obvious.

I had mine coming along with my Fin Funnels but FedEx decided to not deliver
Stupid FedEx..

As someone who came from a V1 Yamato and purchased an Arcadia Milia PF edition, I expected to get blown away, but I wasn't. There was definitely less die cast and folding the tail pack up for gerwalk & battroid mode was a nightmare. I thought I was going to break it. The fast pack covers aren't held on very well and keep sliding off. The side cavity fillers keep falling out. I have to admit that I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here.
I also have two first edition 1/48 Yamato VF-1S and VF-1A. I love the size but as many have pointed out the arms and hands aren't proportioned very well and the nose cones for both easily pop off. The gun doesn't hold well in the tiny hands and mine did not come with an extra set as later versions did. I never purchased the SSPs for either.
The vanilla Bandai DX feels great in hand and is easy to transform. I don't really care about the T-Bracket coming apart to allow for joint swivel. I usually prefer the hip swivel and am glad that option is there. Whatever makes it easier to transform without me feeling like I'm going to break it. Adding the super strike packs add significant weight to the toy and like many have said, the arms don't lock in place in jet mode and can be very annoying. Definitely an oversight. The heft makes all the joints feel looser and all the extra articulation makes is that much easier to fall over without the use of a stand. My VF-1J with SSP installed prefers to do a split and attempts to do so every time I'm not looking or at the slightest touch. An aggressive leg stance without some stand support is close to out of the question.

Please be specific.
1/48 Bandai DX Chogokin? Unlikely to get at below $300 as SSP alone is roughly $150 a set
1/60 scale from Arcadia or Yamato? V1/V2?
1/100 Bandai HMR?

I just got mine shipped from DeJapan as well. 2 Metal Structure Fin Funnel packs and a Snow White = $100 in shipping via FedEx. Double Packed.

He was banned. But it turns out he was right about Kakizaki being the next DX even though all of his images were of a completed Hasegawa kit.

A VF1-D would be kick-ass but I think it will be something more mundane like a VF1-J Hikaru re-issue (with some improvements) followed almost immediately after by GBP Armor

0D arrived. How TF do you guys open the rear landing gear doors? There are no gaps...why?
I usually use a toothpick. I push one door down which gives me enough space to fit a toothpick in there to fish the other door open.

Sounds like a nightmare to transform based on @jenius review. I might get one more. One to transform and another to leave in jet form. I dunno yet!

Sorry Alan. That sucks to hear. Hopefully Paypal refunds you soon.
Anyways, I couldn't resist any longer.
At least I got a SV-262H at near retail price?

I’m legit hoping someone wants to trade me pre order for the YF-29. I already have the VF-1S hikaru but I’m jumping on the hype train. Let me know if anyone is interested
I'll take you up on this offer. Just PM me.

Isnt there cheaper options for this, I see plenty on FJ for around 25k
I dunno. it's $288 shipped to my door. I'm not sure how much it would cost with shipping from FJ. It needs to go away already as I'm way over budget on toys this month.

Someone needs to buy this before I do... Shipping to US and it's getting harder to resist.

@ChaoticYetiany chance your website will be up soon? Also, I was interested in having some custom adaptors made for the following:
- Flame Toys Kuro Kara Kuri line of Transformers.
- Soul of Chogokin FA line
- 1/3000 SDF-1
- Metal Structure Nu Gundam (This is VERY Heavy and might not be possible)
- Metal Build Eva 01/02
- SoC Voltron GX-71 and GX-88
Could I send you some of the adaptors I have to help you make them since I don't have anything here more complex than a ruler?

Great job! Thanks for posting this. I'll my hand at this as well. I'll have to try some of those phosphorescent paints.
If anyone knows of some good decals that could go well with this please share.

There's no way I would accept anyone from taking my money on undelivered goods only to have them convert it to store credit. Having them relist the undelivered goods at a significantly higher price would just add insult to injury and destroy any faith I have in that business.

Can you host it on google drive by chance?

Just pretend it is the latest release from Arcadia...the 1/48 VF-1S V2 with an MSRP of 40,000 JPY, then click that "add to cart" button!
23 minutes ago, F360 said:Its can very well be priced around Arcadia’s premium finish rate . Pre tampo , it even comes with display stands

But, but, but, every time I buy an Arcadia product I seriously question my life choices...

Just pre-order on Amazon.co.jp as they have a pay later option.
https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B08C3B35VF/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=AN1VRQENFRJN5&psc=1
Or if you're willing to wait, look for stateside websites to have it like BBTS, ChosenPrime, TheToySource, etc. This isn't a Macross item so there are other distribution channels available.

I'd recommend checking the for sale section and following this thread. If your email blows up, chances are there's chatter in here regarding a new release and dates. The last pre order was for Roy Folkers VF-1S in early July. You could try proxy buying from Amazon JP or Yahoo Japan auctions at a markup. Also, keep in mind that it's very rare for most of us to buy any Macross item at MSRP.
