Yes but this will be a very large and heavy package. Roughly 50% larger than the Metal Structure Nu Gundam and likely on par with other SoC DX boxes which are HUGE. I just hope they pack it well enough that it doesn't arrive completely damaged.
The DHL price was from FromJapan which is also on par with Nippon Yassan. You were only charged $22 from AmiAmi for your MP-44 or is that an Amazon.jp price?
Amazon JP shipping is at ~$80 which will likely be the cheapest price for shipping.
I really hope stateside companies will carry it like BBTS or ChosenPrime, etc where they've purchased in bulk already and the shipping is free.

For reference DHL for a single VF-0D was ~$97 USD. I think we'll be lucky if the shipping price is $200 or lower.

Nah.. I think my 1/48 VF-1 itch has been scratched well enough. All I think I want now is GBP Armor and a 1/3000 or larger scale TV SDF-1.

Hmm. I don’t know if I need more super parts after buying 5 SS sets for the 3 valkyries I currently own... this is a hard sell after a crazy PO night that included Voltes V DX just the other day! I’m tapped out for the rest of the year.

Well.. You can actually get a new Hikaru VF-1S for less than what I paid on PO night direct from Amazon.co.jp. Surprisingly.

HLJ's website was a lot faster than usual. Did anyone notice that? I mean, other than listing a product you couldn't actually put in your cart for a good 5-10 minutes it was surprisingly responsive.

Last website left that might get one is MyKombini. Keep your eyes peeled. Maybe BigInJap.com as well

Got two for roughly $300 a piece shipped.. not exactly a bargain. We'll see if either place can deliver.

Of all days.. it had to be today/tonight?

It would have been nice if Bandai had a action stand to display the funnels. Oh well. Either way I hope this product line sold well and they release another one like a Sazabi, Zeta, or RX-178. I'd be all over any of those. Hopefully with better articulation and an actual stand that could support it.

And it is too heavy to attatch more
@carlsylar What is the weight of just one set installed minus the additional display stand? Does the Nu Gundam feel wobbly with one or both funnel sets installed? What's the fall factor here without the stand propping it up?
-
I don't think it's possible to have more than dual fin funnel without modifying the connecting piece. The funnels are connected to the backpack using this metal adaptor and there is one for each side. I don't see how another of these could be attached together to extend it without modification.

Let's compromise here and settle for 1/24 scale and in line with Arcadia's Garland.. and that would fit in my case AND be about the same height as a DX VF-1.

I forgot to add https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ - Hobby Search. Their PO window is quite literally seconds.

I was able to land a VF-1S on release day for 19,800 and a Max on release day for 18,000 so it is possible.
You're PO game is strong! Any PO newbies here will get shredded. All other PO veterans will simply pull their pants down and accept their fate.

How hard is it to get one of these at release day with the markup? Where would that be? How much should I budget more than the 19,800Y MSRP to get one at release date?
There isn't anyone in Toronto that wants to order an extra one for me is there?
(I'd even give them a tour of my models/toy if they wanted to come by?!)

You probably won't have an issue picking some up on release day. I picked up six Hikaru VF-1S's on release day between $250 and $300.
Thirded! It's not hard at all to get one on release day but it all depends on how much are you willing to pay. I think ~30,000Y is where this will fall on release day not including shipping... unless we're lucky and they over make this thing (which I really hope they do). I think only the Max VF-1A still has a decent after market price.
By the way thanks @sqidd for ordering three VF-1S customs from @Red Cometto get Bandai to make this. Somehow that voodoo worked out for the rest of us.

44,990 Yen which is what I paid FromJapan to order one direct from Arcadia.
-
That's slightly below MSRP. If you want it, jump on it.

Excellent list, @Grey728!
You should add this to your Amazon.co.jp description as well, since Amazon themselves often list pre-orders hours late... and only after third-party Amazon resellers (that should be avoided) list higher-priced pre-orders.
Will do!
It can be a rush to get get one at PO night, but chances are extremely high that it's more depressing/rage inducing. Get your alcohol of choice ready. Don't be this guy.

emailed ny to change shipping to ups.
Ny shipping is 9500 yen via ups. I already paid 5000 yen so I’m assuming they will charge me 4500 more to ship via ups.I think they'll charge you 9500 yen in ADDITION to what you already paid but I think I'm just being a pessimist here. 9500 would be consistent with what DeJapan is charging me for FedEx international shipping. I do hope that's the price you get.

That's an incredibly heave Valk you have on that stand. I would worry it might tip over unless you have some kind of counter weight on the base..
