  1. Zero chance, the model kits are a different division of Bandai, they even have a different (color) logo.
  2. If they do a re-release of the 1J with GBP, it will likely only have the grey-goggles, which means anyone who wants one with white would need an original release.
  3. Going by the shape, I'm imagining something like a combination of a VF-4 and a VF-31 as far as transformation? Legs and arms inside the wing, and the lower legs forming outboard engines.
  4. As someone who builds a lot of Bandai plastic models, I have very little concern about hue matching. Bandai has very tight control over their plastic quality and colors.
  5. They might just include a grey sticker in the GBP set and call it a day. Or have a slip-on part, or a replacement head.
  6. So far I think it’s just supposition due to the shown 1J having the grey goggles, rather than actual confirmation that the GBP will be a set with a 1J.
  7. Dunno, the Max and VF-1S Hikaru didn't end up much more than MSRP at release, which hopefully will temper them somewhat. Plus the DX YF-29 set is essentially at retail, if they're looking at more than just VF-1 DX releases.
  8. Most recent Arcadia is Blue cardboard.
  9. I'd be mildly surprised, given that the 31 is already one of the best engineered valkyrie figures (if not the best).
  10. I like the more military color on the Roy GBP set.
  11. This ought to give you a basic idea: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10444073 Dalong also has a page for the SV-262Hs here: http://dalong.net/reviews/etc/md09/md09_p.htm There's pics down at the bottom showing a bare build (no paint/sticker/decal)
  12. I imagine that the transparent suit layer was an obvious direction to go with the injection molding tech they're using. Also for some reason the test suits seem to be very popular with fans...
  13. I'm honestly surprised they're going to a double-seater this soon in the line. Unexpected, but welcomed.
  14. Nope, completely different mold and size.
  15. Finally an alternate pod (other than the one that came with the armored parts). Now if only they'd make one that made sense to stick on the 31A...
  16. @Xigfrid designed one up and built one in 1/60 scale This specific posts has it alongside a 1/60 YF-21 and YF-19
  17. Tag hobby has two new Macross Delta 1/72 kits listed: Mirage SV-262 with Lil Drakens Hayate VF-31F with Lil Drakens [edit] Pages are up on HLJ, likely up/soon to be up on HobbySearch, CDJ, Ami-Ami, and others within a few days. https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-vf-31f-siegfried-w-lil-draken-hayate-immelman-machine-bans61334 https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-sv-262hs-draken-iii-w-lil-draken-mirage-farina-jenius-machine-bans61335
  18. HLJ's got about the same pricing as everyone else, excepting Amazon Japan. At least they have private warehouse.
  19. The design of that particular section is inherently bad. The joint is only supported on one end of the pin, and there's an un-chamfered inner corner to concentrate the stress.
  20. Now I'm worried about the 3 Emerald Force VF-19 figures I have. Maybe I'll go check for cracks and maybe drip some superglue in the opposite end of the pin.
  21. Not always. The 3rd party Eva head came via air and only took 2 weeks.
