  1. I got these from...somewhere else (can't remember). But it's a must-read, contains numerous Engrish-moments: I am a Japanese School Teacher
  2. What, Lucas needs to advertise? Besides, after Mike Myres's stunt at that one a few years ago it wouldn't have been believed if prior announced. Yes I saw it, and I sooo wanted to smack the girls sitting behind me who could only produce an, "Awww, he isn't cute like all the others..." I'm like, "But this one isn't some fruity techno-show like the last ones." and they said, "The only reason to see it is if Batman's hot, like Clooney and Val-Klimer in the last ones!" These people should be banned from theaters!!!
  3. I think there's been more trailer than there is going to be movie. Has anyone translated it yet, like the previous one?
  4. Well, no one would recognize her. Besides, there's not many women in the general public I'd like to see attempt that outfit...
  5. I doubt they could have developed military technology even if they wanted... the allied countries pretty much neutered Japan in that aspect after WWII ended. You see my point, though: you can work on creating something that may one day save lives, or you can have a shinier cellphone! Of course, the technologies are vastly different, but still.... Not to say i have anything against shiney objects. Ohhhhhh.
  6. Of course the price will come down, but how much? Nintendo's GB was never above 100, right? The DS could easily come down to 100 by Christmas, but the PSP? Maybe to 150 by PS3's release. I think they're over-estimating how much the hand-held market will pay for a system, but then again, maybe not in Japan(check that cellphone topic). What I still don't get is, a remote? W...T...F?!?! I mean, it's going to be in your hand (it doesn't come with a stand, 4 inch screen...) so what's the point?
  7. By the time the US develops an almost-foolproof missle-defence system, the Japanese would have developed...a better cellphone. These guys need better priorites.
  8. Ok, my little join-in, to keep up: Why should Arnold have to be in the media denouncing steriods? That's the last thing we need - another Hollywood star telling me how to think/live. Of course, given his experience, he, just like any man, should provide what information he has on the issue. He doesn't need to stand up on a mike once a month and say it, but I hope if a friend of his asked him about steriods, he'd tell them right, wouldn't you? And, as stated earlier, Arnold is big on the Special Olympics. When it came to NC, our city hosted the Monaco group, my stepdad was at the time Deputy Mayor so he made sure they were taken care of, and he said Arnold and his wife was there any they were really good people. Now, while people joke about his physique and voice, I think that generally, yes, they do respect him for truely living the American Dream. Now, not to be policital, this is only an example so don't take it anywhere, there are presidents and senators that we don't like in this world, but who with any sense of decency not refer to them as Mr. President, Senator, etc? People in America do accept successful people. And what's the big deal on how he helps people out? Physical fitness has such vast range than most people recognize, but is vital to our well-being, as the obesity-trends are showing us. If that's his calling, well, let him have it. No, he isn't a saint(anyone still have that "He's comming" vid, or is the link in here still working? ) but that doesn't mean he can't be respected, and even admired, just got to take the good and the bad and be able to take from it what you can, like a rational adult. btw, CaptRico, why are you digging up stuff from over a year ago?!? Boy you need to catch up!
  9. We've just been using it alot in Senior Design, so there you go. It's practically a classic anyways.
  10. Yes, I was about that age.
  11. Don't be. I like both them and the game. Frank: "Yo-you're craaazy, man...I-I like you, but youuu're crazy! But man, I want that calendar! Does I work out to where the dates are actuate this year?
  12. I remember when I was young and my father cut a good chunck of his thumb off on his new routing table - I just got up, brought some clean towels and helped put pressure on it. No big deal. Word
  13. I guess it's just not your thing. It's slow at this point, but it gets to the level of great awesomeness later on.
  14. I just finished the fansub, and all I can say is YES!!! I had always hoped for a "Mugen Learns to Read" episode, and it's great!
  15. You all say that if it plays out like this story-revision tells it, you're better of just watching RE, yet if it had the original "gateway to Hell" thing going, wouldn't that just be Event Horizon, with (hopefully) more violence? (Yes of course I know Doom came out first, but...) That, and Christopher Lambert was the man as Raiden. That was probably the only good VG movie. This of course being the worst: ...it has portals to other dimensions to!
  16. The way you're talking, we shouldn't have had Macross Plus because Macross 2 was so bad.
  17. Really? They look like kids to me, about right for the story. Yes, I'm a big fan of Mikimoto, glad to see more of his stuff.
  18. He did say the sequel was comming, but I thought it would be in movie-form.
  19. OOHHHH! Thank you! They're actually playing it in one near me all this weekend! I just hope the possibility of snow doesn't affect travel. btw, is A Tale of Two Sisters any good? It's playing right after, and I'm up for a good horror movie.
  20. ...Someday.
  21. ...Agent(A) One(1). Think McFly, Think!
  22. Yep, I noticed that when I saw it at the cinema, which is one of the main reasons why I purchased the DVD. Gotta love that pause and slow-mo function Graham My favorite part of that scene has to be watching it with the commentary on so she proudly proclaims "TWAT SHOT!" Yes, that's what can save an over-bugeted B-movie...the soft-core porn.
  23. Yeah, I was thinking that guy was going to cheeze up the game.
  24. Capcom added new stuff to the original DC release of RE: CV, calling it CV Complete for DC and just RE: DC for PS2. I never bothered to replay the game after having completed the original on the DC, even though I've had the PS2 "complete" version for a while. Maybe I'll wait for the new edition of RE4 to come out on PS2 instead of burning myself out too quick with an "incomplete" GC version. Meh, with CVX you get new cutseens and a battle mode. In RE2 for N64 you got new uniforms. And for RE: "Director's Cut"...you got nothing. You really care for such fabulous "extras"?
  25. aww, how cute. 5 = hours of survival for this thread.
