  1. Hell yeah, my number 1 request after the VF-17. An ENEMY to fight. Love watching Basara outmaneuvering them and Gamlin blowing them away....
  2. This one is supposedly MSRP at 24,800¥, though.
  3. IIRC YF-19 and YF-21 were 18,800'ish or something like that? Mostly it's the exchange rates. As of 10/19, the rate was 76.818497JPY:USD. That makes 22,000¥ = $286.39. On 4/3/2010, it was 94.9409 JYP:USD. That would make a 22,000¥ = $231.72.
  4. The shoulders are TOO chunky and not long enough. The head is also a bit too blockish compared to the anime instead of tapered.
  5. I think it's the huge head like someone else posted. "Forehead like a movie theater." I like fighter mode but as far as battroid I'd like to see the head scaled down a bit, canon or not. It could also use a neck/collar to raise it up a tiny bit. I think the nose is too "bulbous" and probably is the new gullet and that simply noone looked at the exact angle comparison like anime52k8 posted. Probably too late to change by this point, I imagine. The rest of fighter, I'm more than happy with and expect it to be a bit tighter in production. As far as VF-22, seems obvious to me that Yamato got a bit lazy. VF-22's belly profile should roughly match that of YF-21 with the FP plates on (a bit thinner since we wouldn't need "double layers") and be a bit thicker/chunkier in fighter than YF-21 without the plates but thinner than YF-21 with the plates.
  6. The VF-19S looks incredible. One thing I'd like Yamato to do is articulate the individual cannons in ball joints on the main swivel mount. Canon or not, the head lasers on both VF-19S and VF-17S proto look a bit too cheap.
  7. Not that fond of the head, either, but that's more of a design thing. Those hands look awesome, though. Think I'm going to be waiting for a VF-17D, for sure. ah, who am I kidding. I'll probably end up with all of Diamond Force.
  8. Something bugging more about Battroid than Fighter (or Gerwalk, who's legs are usually back lack that in the anime). Might be the collar, but something about the shoulders doesn't look right.
  9. Both Mylene and non-Mylene MAXL would be nice... but yeah, definitely want that Gunpod for my YF-19FP. They should throw that in the foldo-boosta set. I'd get another one for my YF-21 and/or VF-22. In fact, they could throw in a VF-11B Isamu, too to make me veeeeery happy. Seriously, yamato just sell some pilot and accessory packs.
  10. Nothing really. his one finally solved the things I most disliked about the other two (Optimus being punked liked a biotch and the action too shaky-cam/close up to know WTF is going on. This one was just about perfect with the giant robot pr0n being clear and well executed. I was kinda hoping there could be more and maybe some sort of homage to Unicron reincarnating them (which I guess is still possible... there was nothing left of Starscream in G1, of course).
  11. Never commented on it, but I like this the best of the three movies. It had Optimus' character down perfectly and he wasn't getting punked all the time. A bit let down that Megatron and Starscream died the way they did. No more sequels, I take it?
  12. Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4 have some of the best graphics I've seen on the PS3.
  13. Colors are different but otherwise the same.
  14. That gunpod looks great. Right now my fav is the VF-11B's. Think I want a non-canon VF-17 with bayonet in my dream pilot pack from Yamato.
  15. No, but you get to choose what's best for you depending how much interference and/or other WAP's there are and what other devices you have. Not wanting to run in mixed mode was another reason to do a wireless bridge.
  16. Who said anything about the ISP? Can you say high def LAN streaming from a media server? Note that theory WRT max on g-band is never close to it's max efficiency. When Verizon offers it here, I am intending to go to 100Mbps, though... Range, signal strength, frequency... agility... mo betta.
  17. Docker was a pretty good pilot and comparable to Gamlin, who loses his VF-17S to Glavil the same way (protodeviln kamikaze slam) as Docker.
  18. Unfortunately the PS3 isn't wireless-N yet, so I'd recommend an N-wireless bridge over using the 802.11g. Dual band N roxors.
  19. I like the intro, too, but the series is pretty damned bad ass on the rescue of City 7. Then you think it's going to downshift, then BAM "Death Match at Planet Lux." Then it starts to downshift again and all the weird Protodeviln start getting woke up... Those first two periods are tops then it dips a bit but the end of the series is great, too.
  20. First couple weeks at least a dozen, even with my VF-27. I hardly transform the VF-27 anymore because it's very difficult to get it back into a posing position with the cannon and I don't have room to display it in fighter. Most of the rest dozens more. Just transformed the TV Roy VF-1S and YF-19 recently. I don't transform the YF-21 anymore since the t-bar cracked/chipped and one of the thrusters on the backpack broke, as well. My VF-22 Gamlin has been much more solid, it seems but the YF-21 always starts to kick my ass.
  21. lol, speaker pod gamma was gigantic. It would be like two 2-liter bottles stacked on top of each other, wouldn't it? Love the pics, Reïvaj. I don't really want the Sound Booster, but I do really want that pilot. Reminds me that I also want another VF-11B Isamu since it fits in the YF-19FP so much better than it's pilot. And I also want a TV Hikaru to switch into my TV Roy now and then, too but don't want all those extra valkyries. Wish Yamato would offer a pilot pack. They could throw in some standing figs, too.
  22. Yeah, I never cared about this one. My only complaint with the TV Roy is it could use some folding side flaps like the VF-11B got for the shoulders. Otherwise, it's perfect.
