  1. I need at least 3 of these (what can I say, M2 was my first Macross so it just gives me all the feels!) Found a shot online and yeah, it's better than the Evo one. Just need a pre-order link now... *twitches*
  2. Yeah, I'd buy that - my office needs one
  3. Aha, so Art Jeuness is a gallery - I didn't know that. I knew why it was made, just didn't know where it was shown off - I think I was thrown off by the Any Moon blog which referenced the release as a show exclusive (http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=2259) Great to see them all together in your photos! I picked it up for 2,100Y, which I thought was pretty good - not as good as 1,200Y in the other thread, but still well worth it in my opinion
  4. Hi guys - while I was in Japan I happened upon an auction item at Nakano which was fairly unusual. I thought you guys might enjoy it as a little rarity. This is the Doyusha 1/144 scale die-cast YF19, but in a show exclusive (not sure which one!) as a display item and was never for sale. It's completely unpainted. I have the regular YF19 and YF21 from this series, which I'm very fond of. I love die-cast toys, and this version of the toy completes the Macross Plus set nicely PS: Can one of the mods please fix the title by removing the bracketed part? Not sure how that got in there ><
  5. It is quite a sexy design, if a little out of place in the larger canon. I'll always have a soft-spot for it in my heart though, Macross II was the first Macross series I saw as a teenager. Thankfully things improved from there! And thanks for the warm welcome!
  6. I got to play this for 5 minutes at TGS last month, and it plays very smoothly. I have all the previous PSP games, and have the SE on pre-order. Happy to answer any questions once this lands The Vita is still a big deal in Japan, though it's clearly on the decline in terms of support and new games (Gravity Daze going to PS4 is a clear indicator of Sony's position) but I'd argue it still has the better library when compared to 3DS. I can see Bandai following the Frontier game curve, adding content via new games every year now that they have the engine ported. If it means I'm not waiting another few years for it, I guess that's OK. The last few games have eaten chunks of my life, and I'm looking forward to this doing the same! Of the extra tracks, I'm interested in: Lion (my go to Macross gaming tune to be honest) Holy Lonely Light Northern Cross Infinity #7
  7. Hi, I'm new to the boards but have been lurking for a short while and really appreciating all the great opinions and advice across the forums. I'm quite an avid Macross collector these days, so it's great to find a dedicated board I actually picked up the Nexx VF2-SS for 19,000Y on my last trip to Japan. Having seen the CDX review of the Sylvie variant and comments on here, I kinda knew what I was letting myself into, but have to say that overall I'm kinda pleased with it. The figure could be better, but I remember that the first release of the Chogokin VF25 wasn't all that great compared to the re-edited version released later, so very few Valks are perfect. I have mine in Battroid mode - since most of my collection ends up being posed behind glass, I'm pleased enough for now. I'd love to see the Hi-Metal series take this on, I really hope the hints I heard about on here come to fruition as the Roy Fokker VF-1 I bought earlier this year is one of my favourite Valks
