Well it looks good and I'm sure that if it sells well they may consider doing more, or a pre-built toy version, if they don't the sad thing is the re-casters will likely look at it for the bootleg market.

LOL you have lived my life subsitute the 1/60 V.II for the V. I and it is all there.

I have one of the kits now MIB, and had a couple more back in the day, I'd be happy with a nice high quality scan of the art work my self.

Well its plain to see you have done your homework. Work so far is great. It's a shame that the what if idea didn't get more interest.

Checked out Mercury's Word yesterday, well if the finished Aria is as good as that should be great stuff

As far as hosting goes, there are many options. The question I think at this early stage is should we (i use the term we in the royal tense) be offering it out to the masses outside MW. I'm sure many of the robotech guys would love it. But shouldn't we at least get past beta 1 first. I'm as anxious to play it as anyone else here but don't want the mod to go off half cocked and put a downer on everyone's expectations.

In the past I have come across some games where the end game boss or scenario is so ott. Even with all power UPS an maybe a hand full of infinite lifes health ammo etc are near impossible. It's just programmers running out of ideas. It is shameful though when you get a hard level in the middle followed by easy one/s.

I must get back up to speed with this game. Since being reduced to a min laptop I have not played it. Gotta break out my Desktop and plug it in Mr March Just to let you know I did encounter the soundblaster bug while beta testing for 7. Then changed over to another card and got the Realtech bug. Now I have an Auzentech and no more sound problems

So are we starting a book on which one of the new bots/cons does the pee, fart, poop or hump joke ? -
I did run HW2 on my Windows 7 system ok with my 9800 and it was fine. Only had problems with sound. But that was a 7 issue. Can't remember if I ever ran it with my 9600 or what version it is as it to is in storage.

I guess they could work out how many disks sold vs how many logged onto PS online, hopefully if that is the case there will be plenty of log ons.

Plus one on that, I must pay more attention to the extras. Now I can watch it again and again happy in the knowledge that Bay gets killed by his own creation. Now all we need is him to get run down on set and be in Hospital for the rest of the filming to allow the script writers to do their jobs and not get sidelined by the Director. -
Last time I had it running on my Desktop PC (currently in storage) I used one of the catalyst drivers from last year ran fine on the tweaked ATI 9800XT Pro I have inside. Cant be sure which ones but suffice to say, I was a bit anal on updating them etc so likely fairly up to date. Did read a bit on the http://complex.mastertopforum.com/index.php about issues with Catalyst but haven't been on that site for a while. The Complex mod is an ideal stop gap though for all those wanting something challenging while the mod is still in production.

RT whats that blasphemy you speak of Actually your right it is a bit RT Forgot who it was that founded the SMS, although I did mean SMS like, you know all good for everyone on top and underneath would sell and skin their own Grandmothers for a dime if needed to better the cause. Potentially very dark storylines etc. The thing is with Macross that like Star Trek it could be padded out to massive proportions.

Mostly Im sure that Mr Bay knows deep down that most kids and old skool fans don't give a rats ass about the humans, but still insist on over use of them. They were always the side act in the G1+G2. The best bit in TF1 is when Megatron flicks the man off of him in the city fight scene. Kinda thought oh good at least one human is dead, it also shows the humans are meaning less to at least the Decepticons, something that never is really put across in the films, man half the Autobots don't care that much, Ironhide for instance. Man if they did they would try really hard to not destroy their houses and cars, lives etc whilst killing Cons etc. BumbleBee not having a voice was ok for about five mins then it just got lame. The only down side of the films apart from the fart, pee and genitalia based humor is that I watch it hoping that the main human characters get killed. Just so the bit part Transformer characters get more screen time. Someone needs to clip out all the bits with humans in and see how long the films are then. -
Even back in 84 as a kid I wondered what happened on Earth, Not all of the Zentrans would have gone chasing after the SDF1 the same as not all of the U.N Spacy forces would have been on the SDF1 when it left. Even an OVA based around what happened would be good. The Zentran garrison fleet, is largely left to itself but the stubborn humans wont play nice and increasing difficulties in removing the military mean more and more exposure to Deculture and we see the beginnings of the zentrans rediscovering the "human" side of their history. We see a group of sympathisers micronise them selves and infiltrate a human city and learn more and more about culture, this leads to more zentrans defecting. Meanwhile technology recovered from a destroyed zentran cruiser alows a secretive company ( I was thinking SMS) to research the Micronisation systems, this leads them to produce Zentran sized specialists who then infiltrate the enemy to find out more. The humans at first believe the SDF1 has been lost, so all the stops are pulled out to try and get the Zentradi to leave. Once contact is re-established U.N Spacey is getting updates from the SDF1 and more of an understanding of the Zentradi fighting slows down, meanwhile the secretive company finds out the Zentrans are nothing but clone slaves and the existence of the Supervision army. This makes them want to take all the Zentran tech and get their own force of Giants to fight a possible Supervision Army invasion. Cue lots of under the table back stabbing shenanigans and the eventual finding out of what they are up to. The SDF comes back and things happen as per Macross original. Secretive company is kicked into touch with lots of battles and stuff with all their stolen tech and absorbed into the U.N Spacy as a special research division.

They may still do it ... Consider the amount of cash the global marketing machine that is the Star Wars franchise makes each year. Mr Lucas probably makes the same sort of cash that Lex Luthor makes, and remember he never wears the same pair of socks twice.

WTF why would you even think of making something that bad, let alone think you'd get away with it. That sort of stuff gets you fatwa'd or your house fire bombed. Argh!! Thats gonna be a hard one to beat. -

Spaceship goldfish bowls with lasers and missiles. Knock a hole in the side and turn em into giant frozen fishstick icepops. -

LOL, My media PC looks like an old Sony VCR and that just "snuck in" so if I hide in the draws next to the T.V it might just work. I love it when a plan comes together.

That is what I always thought even back to G1 days with ill fitting toy parts and badly drawn celluloid images. -
Well I always said I wouldn't get a PS3 until a Macross Game came out for it. Now if this turns out to be a full game and not a demo type thing then the PS3 purchase fund will be opened and one will be putting its self into my living room. Region locking for BD is not that much of an issue since I have other means for that, but as long as I can justify it to the other half then I'm good to go. It wont fly if I say its to play the 8 Japanese games for my Jap PS2 that I have, she's not daft. Time will tell I'm Sure..... Game = Yay!! demo = Nay!!

well looking at all the pictures and Mbay.com video etc, one thing is certain Mr Bay has spent a far bit of cash on this one. I will go and see it just because its Transformers, the same way I'd go and see a Robotech film in it just cos its supposed to be Macross. Well the Nascar bots look a little too armored so IRC they are Decepitcon for my money though the Wreckers would be great. Also Octane is a Fuel Truck in G1 so this would fit with Johns theory that the blue cover hides a Decepticon badge, probably no chance of a Tripple changer though On the subject of Decepticon hood Ornaments does anyone know if there was ever a fan released or otherwise replica of the one used by the Constructicons in RTF ?
