Ah the joys of bit torrent If you like I will email you the link it's subbed quite well and is good quality unlike most bit torrent rubbish.
If I post it here we/I will get into trouble.
As soon as the whole series is on DVD it's mine by the way.
When you see it you wont be disappointed.
ooooooowwww!!
This is what I'm currently doing
The Revel Anakin's Jedi Starfighter was an Xmas present along with Darth's Tie fighter these are those quick slap together no paint or glue required. Well let me tell you paint and glue are required if you want it to look good. Gave the Cockpit a bit of a make over got rid of the ejector pin marks and painted in all the switches and lights oil washed the whole interior selectively giving it some other shades etc. Made wear marks and scuff in the foot well and on the arm rests although you wont really see them when the figure is in. The figure is undergoing the correct color repaint and it will look less like a chip has painted it. All the nasty seams are going and the correct hull colour will be airbrushed on including the default "used space look" knocks and scrapes.
The F-15 is going to be painted in G1 Star Scream colours and have scratch built null rays on the wings. The worst thing about this kit is that it has raised panel lines that all need to be recessed before I can go too far.
sorry for the pic quality but it's kinda difficult to get the camera to focus properly with out using so much light that it washes out the colours.
LoL
It's not like you can just flat pack the boxes and send them in a jiffy bag via normal post. The plastic inserts still take up all the room.
Admittedly thats what I did with mine. Hasegawa kits have plenty of room too Gashapon fit so well into them.
At least with PS2/3 games you can put the disk in a disk pouch and put the case labels into an unbendable envelope and post em or just pop them into the bottom of you bag and get new cases when you get home. My friend managed to get nearly 200 games disks that way and they took up less space than my one Wave Battroid kit.
They need inflatable packaging thats the answer.
I wont make a commitment to buy one until I actually see one. Then of cause it will be down to price and how big the box is. Since I will be in Japan after these guys hit the market.
In two to three years time will we all be cursing Yamato for Floppy limbs crooked Skulls and the new 1/72 Super Ultra Perfect Transformation line of VF-1's they'll be doing by then.
I'm in for it providing it will fit in my cases if it wont then maybe a few of the parts and I'll have to bash bits to fit or somthing.
Post some images when your done please >
While I agree it may not be up to everyones taste, that's what makes us all individuals. Im impressed that you thought of it, that and you have a coffe table with a windowed display area in the center.
Most of the differences are with the arms early FP will not fit on a re-issues and vice versa. A Joons is the same as the original Taka so you can take your cues from that.
IIRC the original leg FP should fit the Taka but I may be wrong. The best man to ask is Skull-1 he'll be able to tell you for definite.
This reminds me I seriously need to think about a Chunky Monkey subsite this sort of thing could be on there.
Opps!!
I have a screen replica plate from The General Lee Made with the correct font and date stamp thingie that you U.S guys have on your plates. This is not one of those cheap plastic ones you see all over the place. it is genuine Georgia plate stock from the 70's all I need now is another 10,000 or so parts and I'll have my own General
Mmmm "Moscato Perfect" That should be a grading factor for kits a bit like Mint in box or still on card. "this kit is Moscato Perfect"
You get the idea.
I'm hoping they feel some SDF love and bring out a reissue don't bother with the small stuff though Bandai.
Thanks gonna hunt me down an H boy
I tried Compressed air once and I made a right mess. Now I just use an air de-ioniser and a duster and some Mr Shene polish on the shelves and a nice soft brush on the figures etc.
