  1. OK, so if I didn't mention it before, this thing is the mutafrakkin' crap! Transformation went well except I somehow got that hip joint to turn around the wrong way even though it was proper out the box. After some fiddling around, I figured out how it works and got it back to the right orientation. The rest was all good! So, the only thing is mine definitely has tight shoulder joints but that seems to be NBD. Bring on the rest of the crew!
  2. Oh, just saw this as I was posting in the Mospeada thread...Might as well drop this here too
  3. I haven't been able to follow this thread but I finally got the Legioss I've been waiting decades for!...And it's Magnificent, Spectacular, Glorious, All That! I haven't transformed it yet but it feels nice and solid so far. The pilot figure feels delicate but not as bad as I was expecting. I am able to pose it, move it around and do what I want without it crumbling into pieces. The details on the figure are excellent! I checked that hip joint and mine seems to be correctly installed too. Right now, I'm a very happy camper...Next step, transforming and see if I feel the same way.
  4. Nice! Really great to hear it seems they keep improving the tolerances and little details too.

Also got the first Tomica cars I've bought since I was a kid. Pretty sweet but I don't feel like they are as good as the old ones I remember and probably won't buy any more. Unless I find a yellow Countach for cheap.
  6. Yeah, I use Ferry shipping almost every time I can. Normally, it takes 1-2 months for my stuff to arrive. The last couple orders I got that shipped right around the beginning of the lockdown took 2-3 months.
  7. Yeah, NY will likely sell out quick after they open and then post it later at a markup but they are one of the only sites that does not crash. Crashing is very typical for AmiAmi and especially HLJ.

Thanks for sharing! That's an interesting take and it goes against the idea of everything being shared in a marriage but it sounds like it works well for you. For me, I just hand over all money duties to my wife. She knows exactly how much I spend and it has caused issues but we've been working them out.
  9. Yeah, I never looked into it and never bothered to ask them. Try it and report back.
  10. Yeah, you have until the last step with the terms checkbox before you commit so you can see all the options before that. I’m not sure but some have an exclamation mark that I haven’t checked on what it means. I think some methods just don’t even show up so you might want to look up what it all means.
  11. Technically, you can choose one of the available options including Ferry but depending on how big the item is, it might be a bit more expensive to use that compared to the other normally available methods. Either way, I don’t think any shipping option will be much less than $20 so you could either wait and see or just choose the cheapest method available now.
  12. Had to open this thing and took a couple quick and dirty shots of it
  13. Oh hell yeah! Make sure to include a working digital ammo counter!
  14. Thanks and most importantly...Take care of your mom!
  15. Sweet! I love the Pulse Rifle design! Any working gimmicks on it?

    Nice! Looking good!
  17. Nice pickups. Let us know. What you think after you open them. Do iiit, NOW! I just happened to get this today myself. It’s a beast! Bigger than most non combining SOC figures and it actually is “Hi-Metal”. These things are fantastic!
  18. Zentradi come in different sizes and the cockpit is very cramped...not specifically designed for a warrior clone's comfort. http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrosstechman/tech-zentradiheight.html
  19. Haha, awesome! Mind if I share this sometimes when appropriate?
  20. Nice! Look into Green Toys blocks. They are like even simpler and bigger Duplo blocks made with BPA free recycled materials. Perfect as the first interlocking building blocks for infants and toddlers. Actually, lmk if you are interested in them.
  21. I think it is much more likely to get one that has no issues in the PF so that alone is worth the entire price of the non PF to me. The rest is up to what you like aesthetically but the paint job on the PF is worth at least $200 to me since it would take me probably $2000 worth of my own time to attempt to do something similar and most likely end up with something not as good. So basically less than $50 difference between a PF and non PF, sorry but to me I think it would be idiotic to roll the dice with a non PF that could have disintegrating hips and not look as good.
