Unfortunately I have to pass on this. I've had plenty of time to think after I missed the initial PO, and I've decided to put the money for this into insurance. Blame this as a casualty of Covid-19. Come December, someone on this forum is guaranteed to be green with envy...

It's understandable since she does shows every year--have to keep up that stamina. I'm really envious she can still go to the gym. Or does she have a whole section to herself? My favorite gym had an old aircon which I didn't like--I wouldn't go there without being vaccinated. And I wanted to go to the public sports complex but yeah Covid shut down most transportation and I am stuck at home most of the time. Aargh

I like how she's not slacking off even in the time of Covid. Then again she does need to keep herself in top shape for her concerts. That reminds me, I miss going to the gym. :(

I also like the Unplugged, and nice that she wrote the lyrics to most of it. Next would be the Soul tracks. Didn't care that much for nu skool.

I got the package from DHL. Fortunately they resolved whatever the delay was. It was quite fast. Now my only problem is the not shipping to my location part for some of the books I wanted.

So they shipped via DHL, and tracking already says it's delayed lol. Let's see how it goes. I got another shipment from the US the other day. It was relatively fast in that I expected it to arrive next month.

Is this less rapey than the original? I was pretty ok the 1st 2 times but was put off when I read about it in forums -
EMS was usually cheaper for me. So I just ordered some stuff from Amazon Japan, delivery is estimated to be in 2 weeks. Pre-covid it used to be 1 week or less. We'll see what is the actual delivery date and delivery company.

Checking with HLJ, it seems only the ff. are available to me: Air Small Packet, Air Parcel, EMS. I was pretty sure in the past that FedEx was ok lol. But I was using EMS pre-Covid and it was acceptable. Hopefully more shipping choices become available once Kawamori's book is out.

I just resolved not to get gunpla anymore this year. This is so tempting We'll see if shipping normalizes (and I change my mind). I fear more shipping backlogs as I assume people will be ordering more online than going into stores for Christmas--and this backlog might continue until next year.

Is there anything wrong right now with HLJ shipping? To be honest I haven't ordered anything from Japan after March so I'm not sure about state of shipping from there. I've only ordered from the US but I'm using a forwarder so I am confident they will deliver to my place.

I'll stick with HLJ for the Kawamori book. For the other books I will hold off pre-ordering for now and see what happens in the next few weeks.

Kawamori's book on HLJ is now on order stop. Now I noticed CDJapan also has it: https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK-2523883 I would have loved to get the Hobby Japan Vintage Vol 4 from Amazon JP but some other books I want don't ship to the Philippines. I wish this trend would stop...I wonder how they decide which books can be pre-ordered for international shipping or not.

While reading I was wondering if it was paid for. They seem to have a lot of RT-related articles. Or if not maybe they're friends with someone related to the comic? That would also make sense.

I purchased some Humble Bundle Comics and when I realized it was from *that* publisher, I thought 'eeewwww'. But some of their comics are good titles, specifically the ones from European artists/writers. Several are on my wish list, but so far down it's unlikely I buy them unless my income goes up considerably.

How big is a SOC box (esp. with shipping box)? Amazon has listed the Voltes V dimensions as 2.5 x 20.3 x 35.6 cm but I doubt that's the whole package. Any ideas?

I tried to watch the 1st season but I was just getting angry thinking she should do something more proactive about her work (like resign or look for another job?) Does anything good ever happen?
