  1. Yeah it would be prone to breakage. I just wanted it to be able to do the FU gesture

Actually it's the 2nd time this year I got flagged while browsing MWF T_T Looks like I'll have to slow down on accessing MWF at work for a while, except when there's new HMR stuff I want to buy
  3. I was happy to see Minmei but unfortunately Robotech brrr...haha. I like Craig Drake's instagram must be worth it to follow for all that Motoko Kusanagi art
  4. Got the HMR Spartan and the Synthetic Human. The synthetic human has very nice articulation, it would have been more awesome if the fingers were movable too. HMR Spartan may be the most playable of the HMR toys I have.

Can you stop linking to laughshop? My office antivirus flagged the site as having a malware/virus. The network admin made me do a virus scan T_T On-topic: I got my HMR Spartan! It's quite sturdier than the valks, I like it a lot. Very nice to play with.

  7. Congrats on the achievement! You caught them all!
  8. If she quits music with some training she could do a food show haha

I'm getting impatient as my Spartan hasn't been delivered yet. It was a holiday yesterday though so all I can do now is wait T_T
  10. So I read this article about Thomas Romain, a French guy who got hired into Satelight. He has a Twitter account, so far I like his time-lapse of videos of making illustrations of his sons' creations. Those would make a good art book in the future if they get to a 100 or more designs. http://kotaku.com/an-insider-s-look-at-working-in-the-anime-business-1796312543 https://twitter.com/thomasintokyo
  11. I'm using uBlock Origin it seems okay. Anyway nice article.

Oh I prefer buying from HLJ. I don't want to have too many online store accounts (don't want to keep track of too many, and the more accounts the more chances of buying )

It's backordered now, I hope there's still some more copies in the future.

Not interested in M2 stuff. If this is the next HMR release my wallet is happy to skip this.
  16. I like Walter Simonson's Twitter. Thor overload~ Is that allowed to have 2 accounts or are you using different email addresses for each? Looks like a good filtering option.

My HMR Spartan is on the way. However, I decided to cancel my HMR Destroid Defender order. Boxes of books are coming and I am running out of space. It was also never my intention to collect the entire HMR line. That said I would still like to have more HMR Regults
  18. None of the shows there are interesting to me. So not worth it for me (yet), and 3rd world internet sucks for streaming.
  19. I have Facebook too but it's for personal friends only. So looks like not much people here follow artists/designers on Twitter/Instagram.
  20. I've been perusing Tenjin Hidetaka's Instagram account, I like the cats to know if you guys have also been following other similar artists/mechanical designers and who are you following? I never cared about artists/designers in anime etc before but now seems like a good time-waster idea to stalk get updates on what they're up to. Twitter Ben Mauro - Concept Designer and Art Director lately worked on the Valerian movie. Bill Sienkiewicz - worked mainly with DC and Marvel Chris Samnee - I see mostly Marvel stuff, not really much art but has a Patreon for his doodles Demizu Posuka - Posuka Demizu (出水 ぽすか, Demizu Posuka), is a Japanese manga artist known for doing art for Kirugumi and Yakusoku no Neverland. Feng Zhu - Veteran designer who has his own school in Singapore. Greg Capullo - Posts his pencil sketches, best known for Quasar (1991–1992), X-Force (1992–1993), Angela (1994), Spawn (1993–2000, 2003–2004) and Batman (2011–2016). IZMOJUKI / Junji Okubo - artist/mechanical designer. Author of Industrial Divinities. Jason Fabok - Comic book artist working for DC Comics on Justice League. Jim Lee - started in 1987 as an artist for Marvel Comics, illustrating titles such as Alpha Flight and The Punisher War Journal, before gaining popularity on The Uncanny X-Men. Lee Weeks - known for his Daredevil works (accdg to Wikipedia) Mateusz Urbanowicz - Polish artist living in Japan, lately worked on backgrounds for the movie Your Name Peter Krause - worked on Daredevil but there's lots of non-art posts (politics etc) Sean Gordon Murphy - Batman artist and writer sparth/Nicolas Bouvier - Halo Art Director, Microsoft-343. Author of the Structura art books. Tenjin Hidetaka - If you're in a Macross forum you should know this guy by now. Haha Thomas Romain - French mecha designer who works at Satelight Walter Simonson - Thor art galore! Yannick Paquette - X-men, Wolverine, Batman, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman Earth one and lots more Instagram Craig Drake - draws pop characters, has several Motoko Kusanagi art and other nerdy goodness J Scott Campbell - draws for Marvel/Disney Stanley Lau - draws pop characters, with some personal stuff mixed in Blog/Website 萌 え お ぼ - I don't know how that name is read, and the blog is NSFW. Features Misa x Hikaru Barry Windsor-Smith - drew for Marvel etc. I don't think he's that active in comics anymore
  21. I tried maintaining an Excel file but I gave up halfway. Maybe deep inside I didn't want to know anymore how much money I was wasting lol
  22. It's more believable than Gundam though--most pilots in Macross go through training iirc. In Gundam, well, they become ace pilots because they're Coordinators or Newtypes...
  23. Knights of Sidonia and Blame! were drawn by the same mangaka so they would have the same style. I don't like the harem elements in Sidonia but I like the over-all story, the music is also good. But as manga I like Blame! better.
  24. Oh I forgot I also started trying to collect Gundam kits, specifically Gundam Wing. But when the HMR bug hit I kind of lost the desire to collect Gundam kits. It's mainly still a problem of space, and then financial priorities as I work around a budget. I think I have 3 or 4 Gundam kits still to assemble, then an Aldnoah.Zero kit, a Scopedog, a tachikoma, and a Nausicaa Mowe. It also hurts my heart to mention some Tomytec Macross kits are still unassembled...
