  1. Hopefully pre-ordering won't be crazy. I imagine the price (26,400 yen) and it being a P-Bandai will slow some people down. P-Bandai Metal Builds do sell out but it can take a couple hours to a day before all the pre-orders are gone. I have the X-1 and definitely think the X-2 is worth it. It looks just as good and comes with all the X-1 accessories plus you get two extra weapons. The lance and fold out canon are unique to the X-2. There is little doubt that we will get a X-3, X-1 Kai, and Full Cloth in the next two years. I am surprised Bandai took so long to get the X-2 up for pre-order. They have got plenty of variants to make from the main story. Which personally helps me justify buying multiple copies of the same metal build. All of the variants Bandai could make are cannon. When they start making variants that only in a side story manga for two pages that was never translated and cost $300 plus, it gets a little hard to justify. I know there are more Crossbone gundams that appear in Ghost and Dust but I figure those five would be a good start.
  2. Very tempting. I am not sure if I want to wait for a John Wick from Chapter 3 or get this one because it comes with so much stuff. But the material they used for the suit does not look the best. Does Mezco's Gizmo figure use that same material?
  3. Did Bandai release a waterslide sheet for the RG Sazabi?
  4. You are 100% right and if this was the first shipment back in February I would understand.
  5. And pre-ordered at BBTS. Nice to see Mezco do Moon Knight. I always thought their style would work well for this character. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/93076
  6. Nippon-Yasan are just a bunch of scalpers. The 2nd release of the Robot Spirits Nightingale came in and NY is asking for more money. "Unfortunately this order is bigger than expected therefore we will have to ask you for additional shipping" BS, you knew how big the figure was from the first shipment. I am switching to someone else for P-Bandai orders. Are the third party proxy site prices comparable to NY, like FromJapan or Buyee? I would just stick with BBTS but US sellers get even more expensive. I am paying 29,380 yen with EMS shipping plus the "additional fee" of 1,400 yen for a total of 30,780 yen or 275.02 usd. BBTS list price was 385.00.
  7. It is interesting that they are announcing both the kit and add-on parts at the same time. Bandai usually waits to announce add-ons until the model is released, or closer to release date. I expect to see a Heavy Weapon System add-on or separate release but wonder what else they are planning if they are pushing the double fin funnels all ready. Hopefully we will see some effect parts for the fin funnels and some waterslides.
  8. Does anyone know if there a good way to monitor Amazon Japan pages via Distill? I have been getting errors or notifications every minute.
  9. I wonder if we will be getting the Red Frame Dragon with the three caletvwch. Bandai does love produces remolds with slightly different equipment. Speaking of, where is the X-2? That remold I am actually interested in buying.
  10. Hopefully more pre-orders will come later. The VF-1J had a couple of times pre-orders were added. At least through HLJ, can't say for the other sites. Does anyone know if there is a good way to monitor Amazon Japan via Distill? I get errors or random notifications every time the page is refreshed.
  11. Nice pick on the Zeong, how do you like it?
  12. They are sold out, they won't let me checkout.
  13. I am getting both hopefully through HLJ or Amazon Japan.
  14. I am a sucker for Bandai stuff. I don't have a version of the RX-78 and the 40th anniversary one hits all the spots. The extra tampo looks great and the manga origin version is my favorite rendition. Also in for Char's Zaku. Both of them will make a nice display set.
  15. Got this haul in yesterday! Titanus is great, the whole thing is solid and sitting on a solid plate of diecast metal. Really like they kept the moving feet function as you roll it. The Metal Build EVA is amazing! It is the most articulated metal build with an amazing paint job. And I love how they integrated the metal joint into the design. It invokes the EVA concept of armor strapped onto a fighting unit. I need the whole team in this line. Unit-13 from the rebuild movie would look great is this aesthetic but no idea how Bandai would do four arms.
  16. In the 0083 manga the GP-01 had a full armor setup with face mask. It might have come from that.
  17. The video makes it sound like Gundam Universe line will be carried in retail stores worldwide. So I wouldn't buy them from HLJ, I have great versions of these ones already or would buy the Robot Spirits. But if I saw these at Target, Best Buy, or Meijer hanging on peg? I would definitely impulse buy them.
  18. Woot! Can't wait for pre-orders to open up.
  19. Pre-orders for the Metal Build Crossbone X-1 are up again at BBTS https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/81613 If anyone is on the fence $240 is a good price for this piece.
  20. Love the strap! It looks really good. I am super happy that I pre-ordered the VF-1J with the prices they are going for now. Definitely pre-ordering any future releases when they go up.
