  1. i, for one, DEMAND to see more of Agent0NE's manly physeque. He's worked hard to accomplish his near superhuman greatness and we should feel privledged... no.. BLESSED to see his hetero-sexual, woman melting, walnut cracking in the buttcheeks self. AgentONE: I see now, I understand. You really are the greatest!
  2. i'm going, but i don't know how i'll be getting from my room to the show..... could be scary.
  3. fat legs? i agree the proportion looks a bit "stylized," but.. FAT legs? you must have some hard core standards in women.
  4. i'm more intrested in this than spiderman 2 though i generally don't like "all CG except for the actors" type movies... looks cheap like a crap videogame cut scene
  5. really though, it may be diffrent... it may be noticeable if you look closely... but does the air brake REALLY look like its sticking out like a sore thumb? i can't even tell the diffrence in these photos, but given that there might be more noticeable diffrences in person... i really don't think its THAT bad.
  6. i just figured, the 4 things found wrong on the valk brought his review of the thing down 5 points out of ten, and it's a little um... overkill? so all the things yamato did right(good stiff joints, good pilot, nice clear canopy, etc), all of them togeather, amount to only half the score this valk gets while these four things detract 5 whole points? and THAT is being generous? in my opinion thats pretty harsh so i thought i'd take a jab at it. aside from the gun complaint, i don't see these issues in the pictures posted which leads me to believe that most of these issuse are pretty small and more like nitpicking. not deserving a docking of the valks score 5 out of 10 points. just my opinion.
  7. i dont' know about you, but when i opened the box to my low viz, the box was FULL of oxygen! geeze don't they know how corosive that stuff is to my valk? just because it's a assembly line doesn't give them the right to miss tiny fleks of extra plastic, or white spots in a few areas on the paint, or boxes full of corosive oxygen. bastards.
  8. i dunno.. i think its a bit silly to try and predict these things... for one, companies like yamato.. or any toy company, can sometimes just do bizzare stuff like flat out end production and go in a completely new direction. i'd like to see a 1/48 vf-1d and a CF before the line ends (i love the nameless valks much more than the character valks) i'd really like to see destroids in 1/48 but i've got my doubts. honestly, with my two custom bootleg 1/55s and my low viz 1/48 standing proud over a tiny squadron of banprestos, i consider my valk collection complete destroids would be cool, bad guys would be cool, vf-19 would rock (from mac+) considering i know alot of anime fans who have no idea what a Valkyrie is (its that thing from robotech right?) i just don't know how much longer yamato will be making these things. i think we get a pretty biased view on the mainstream-ness of macross by visiting these boards. i'd say its still pretty cult-classic-ish just my $0.2

    Kids and your toys

i've noticed alot of kids know the diffrence between a model and a toy. if its ever an issue, i give them a bootleg and say, "here is a toy you can play with" then i show them the 1/48 and tell them "this one is a model so you can't play with it, the one i gave you is more fun to PLAY with anyway" toddlers and babys are stricktly enforced not to touch my things, i tell the parents, "it may look like a toy to you but its not a toy, and its not to be played with" and i tell the kids that too. anyway... since most kids around 8 have tried and failed at atleast one model, lettting them know that something isn't a toy is usually good enough, they dont' want to break it.
  10. it seemed pretty crapperific to me too, the anime-ish characters done in american art style with american type animation just so RAREly looks anygood (teen titans being probably the ONLY exception to this) the thing has a friggin car as a head. crap
  11. just means the crooks will get bigger badder guns, while us law abiding folk are restricted to guns that won't penitrait THEIR liquid armor.
  12. yeah, americans are ruining my poor america. i may just have to move to australia. its really just like how agent one said
  13. Since when is a Tiburon a honda? Vostok 7 oups
  14. how i envy you. whats worse is i go to a school full of geeks who think epi and ii are "not that bad"
  15. my tiburon has pretty nice suspension acctually, i wonder how it stacks up against the rest. (i know its a honda, but the suspension feels really tight, i love takeing corners in it.)
  16. i'll probably get flamed for this: i think macross TVshow always had an air of "keeping things realistic" now i realize that transforming jetplanes and giant aliens from space is far from real in of itself... BUT to me, Macross always tried to keep things grounded... my examples are that the valk is designed to LOOK like it would work. it doesn't morph or teleport or phase in extra parts from somewhere, it reconfigures in a very beleivable way. and there always seemed to be a counterballance of technology: "look how far out that stuff is, makes sence it hardly ever works" sort of thing. the more fantastic the technology in macross, the rare-er it is that it will actually function. i think, given the level of restraint in macross's "fantasy" the lazer swords don't quite fit. also just a thought, aside from the k-bar knife, i dont' think US troops are issued any kind of aditional melee weapons, not even a baynette if i remember correct, not anymore. and if you think about it, a human vs a human is a much more fair fight than a human vs a robot. so i think that kind of sums it up.
  17. i think the danger of falling casings in any situation would be negligable. a casing with no bullet in it is pretty light, i dont' think it would hurt much no matter how high it was dropped from. and even then, the chance of being hit, even if on the ground under an old style dogfight is still pretty low. i'm just guessing though.
  18. they need to bring back yoshi amano if they are going to keep bringing in lesser artists to mimic his style. and i agree, the waifish pussy heros are lame. what ever happend to bad asses like barret, edgar, and cyan?
  19. very very nice, ever done a p-38?
  20. Presumably because he jacked the 01 in the TV show. but he was in his 1j when he had the armor, whats that have to do with the skull001?
  21. I have done nothing to the M3... I really don't know how I beat every and all 911s, as well as vettes, and all other cars that I would think would be faster. What really makes the difference is cornering... I can take a corner at 90 where it would send a vette flipping over. Then again I would like to think I am just a great driver and that is what makes the differenct, but who knows. Maybe the guys I raced were all retards. The guy in the 360 Ferrari stopped at the toll booth that we were racing to at the Golden Gate Bridge, he rolled his window down and asked me if I had some crazy engine inthere os something... I told him it was stock. The guy didn't believe me. i find it hard to believe a m3 beat those ferarris and 911's even in handleing. i'm thinking you just out drove them. they are probably rich guys with fancy cars that they never push and the g-forces freaked them out so they backed off. i think its pretty clear a ferarri (anytype) and the porshe 911 are superior cars to a stock m3. still cool though, great underdog storys, beating a guy in a superior car is actually more impressive. i like to gobble up those little boxters myself, those are so slow off the line. they'd kill me in curves though. phyrox: nice 70, do you not have it anymore? in any case, you should check out www.chevelles.com , they have an awesome forum
  22. bsu legato: THANKS!! the greatest part about having a car like my chevelle is that it makes people happy when it goes by, that never gets old. Agent 0ne: have you done anything to your m3? i dont' think a m3 like that is supposed to compete with ferarris and 911's. or were you giving another example of driver over hardware? if you've built it, do tell.
  23. 3rd post in 10 min (heres to reading before posting) guys, just to be sure everyone is on the same page. a SLEEPER is a car that is very very fast, yet on the outside, looks stock or in some other way slow. the idea is that the thing is fast but wont attract attention, OR in the case of bad "racing" movies, its so they can go to the "underground" raceing circut and make lots of money. i'm pretty sure solscud is jokeing, with the stickers/rims/lowering and tiny motor, his car is kinda the opposite of a sleeper. (no offence just tellin it like it is) luckly he knows how to shift, wich can win many races dispite low horse power.
  24. what do you drive?
