Well my Proto-Garland just broke on me. You know those teeth(?) near the seat where you snap the front end of the bike into? Yeah, well part of it snapped off when I was trying to transform the thing back into maneuver craft mode WITHOUT looking at a video. I found some of the broken pieces, but they are pretty tiny. Hope I'll be able to super glue them back together.

Why was it closed? Mods, I think us Gundam figure collectors would prefer a separate thread for Gundam toys.

I'm guessing the Battletech folks cut a deal with Harmony Gold for the unseen mechs, and I wouldn't be surprised if the game never gets sold in Japan and is never ported to the PS3.

With all the changes being made to the VE-1 (making the transformation more akin to the 1/48, etc.) and the perennial shoulder problems, do you think Yamato is developing an improved version of the basic VF?

This thread has lost all relevance, given that a growing number of members who initially posted all manner of praises for the perfect condition of their newly purchased valkyries and voted accordingly in the poll, are now coming back reporting breakages, but the belated breakages aren't reflected in the poll. I hope Yamato isn't using the numbers on this poll to show someone that "Look! Even the gaijin say our toys are, for the most part, flawless!"

Heck, I'd be happy with a reissue of the YF-19 with Fold Booster set. At least we'll know we're getting the one with fixed landing gear but without the crooked gunpod mount. Have steered clear of the YF-19 so far because of the uncertainty.

What do you guys think of the efforts to save the show? (www.savethescc.com) I know of only ONE show for which a campaign like this worked (Jericho). So is it worth pitching in for an effort like this?

For me the problem with the Titaniums was that they were non-scale. I would have loved to see AMT release a pre-painted die-cast multi-media model kit of the Mk. II Viper. The kind you just put together with a screwdriver. -
