  1. I would definitely buy a 1/48 TV VF-1S, but then I would also need 1/48 TV VF-1A Max and Kakizaki, which I don't have since they were too limited/expensive/much of a b@#$tch to get...
  2. Where'd you get the spare shoulders?
  3. I wish it were possible to crossover Adventure Time with other properties that were set in a "post-apocalyptic" world, like Kamandi, Spiral Zone, Fallout or even Thundarr the Barbarian.
  4. 'Love Adventure Time! I really dig how Finn and Jake turn every situation into a new adventure and generally have a positive outlook, despite the fact that they live in a post-apocalyptic world where everything has gone to sh@#$t. "It's raining knives!" Could never stand Codename: Kids Next Door. It always came across as pretentious, as if screaming to kids "Watch us because we're so kewl!" Ugh.
  5. Does anyone know if the Angelbird and VF-X have the corrected shoulders?
  6. Do those saddlebags come painted? They look great! Is EXO making another run?
  7. Never did get to buy that GSC Tachikoma. Asked a toy import shop to order it and they just couldn't be bothered to get off their fat @ss to do it. I wonder why GSC never seemed to follow up on this release?

    1/100 Toynami Regult

I was thinking they could market a 1/60 Regult as "DX" sized, then a 1/48 version as a "Jumbo!" They could even make it out of polyethylene!

    1/100 Toynami Regult

I just opened the regular Regult I bought this weekend and I absolutely love it! No problems with parts falling off so far. Great work, Maiden Japan and Toynami! Now my question is: is it within the realm of possibility that you take this existing design - not changing a thing, not even articulation - and blow it up to a larger scale? Perhaps 1/60 or *gasp!* 1/48? It could be a limited production run and you could sell it at a proportionally but reasonably higher price. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of other collectors on such a product.
  10. Can't afford the VF-19 at that price. Guess I'll just get older releases that are missing from my collection for now.
  11. This sounds scary! Wouldn't the Valkyries get damaged?
  12. I'm in practically the same boat. Not nearly as many Valkyries, but what there is really does take up too much space.
  13. Hah. Unfortunately, something tells me that the Post Office and Customs people in Cebu are much nicer than the ones we have here!
  14. I'm in the same boat. Budgeting for one toy for my birthday and was considering the YF-19 among others.
  15. I'm from the Philippines, and I get what you're saying about the Postal Notices. Problem is, shipping stuff to Manila via EMS is atrocious, because the EMS hub in Pasay City tacks the cost of shipping on top of the price of the item to compute for customs duties! So its back to SAL, and when weeks or even months go by without any sign of your package, you gotta worry, since the Post Office won't lift a finger to try and locate it unless you have a tracking number (but if you had one, you'd be going to Pasay, not your local Post Office) or a Postal Notice (but if you received one, then you wouldn't need their help in the first place!).
  16. I seem to recall someone asked Yamato if they would be revisiting the YF-19 to incorporate any improvements developed for the VF-19s. Does anyone remember what Yamato's answer was? What's the likelihood we'll see a new YF-19 in 1/60 scale?
  17. Got one. Had to pay through the nose in customs duties, though.
  18. Never thought I'd be ending this story on a happy note! Who would have guessed that the "Second" postal notice (never received a first!) would arrive today and that the GGFN Unicorn would be safely in hands now? Never been happier to be proven wrong, so I may give Hobby Search another shot in the future!
  19. Ordered a GFFN Unicorn Gundam from Hobby Search WAAAAAY back in November, but had it shipped via SAL. And yes, I haven't received it yet. My mistake is not opening a dispute with PayPal in time, hoping that it was just delayed and that Hobby Search would appreciate my patience and help me out somehow. Unfortunately, and I guess not surprisingly, Hobby Search advised me that there was nothing they could do, since it was shipped SAL. Still hoping against hope it arrives, but I probably won't be ordering from Hobby Search anymore until it does.
  20. So does anyone have the Yamato? Really curious about its scale. Hate it when companies just slap on the "non-scale" label and call it a day.
  21. By the way, which of the 1/60s have the clear canopies already?
  22. Thanks for the scans! Hope you'll post scans from future issues as well!

    Panel lines

I've got two questions: 1. Does panel lining = weathered look? Is it possible to panel line without getting the toy dirty-looking? 2. Do you panel line before or after you apply decals?
