1. dreamcast was great at emulating every system before it... but not for competeing systems. Genisis, sure, coleco, atari, nintendo, snes, master system, old mame, etc... but psx was a bit to much for it to do well. X-box on the other hand does psx1 just fine, as well as every system built before it... see a trend there? wait... why are you trying to do macross games on a dreamcast anyways?!?!? A modded psx1, psx2, or x-box should be easily availible and the psx controller was sooooo much nicer for the game than a dreamcast controller ever would be.
2. yep I personally would have loaned it to him... at 500% interest compounded daily...
3. I dunno. I love my 1/55 strike and if i had an elint or ostrich I would love those even more. Oh I love my taka 1.55 GBP too. more than reissues 358250 it's easy to say that about stuff that hasn't been re-issued. Yeah, I love having a boxed taka brownie but I like playing with my re-issue brownies in case I trip over a cat while going "vrooom vroooom" . Lord knows if bandai ever reissues the ve,vt, strike, and makes a gbp I would be all over them. I still don't know why bandai didn't follow hg's lead and offer fastpack varients sold seperately. How many people around here bought the super just to steal the fast packs from? I know it was quite a few as I ended up with a number of empty reissue super boxes [although I still neem more ]. Bandai could make a mint, especially if they did color varients as I'd think the "milla" set would sell a ungodly ammount as replacement jetfire armor. Anybody know somebody who works at bandai want to pass the message along?
4. I still want that wile e. Back in the mid 90's when I was more afluent [ok... just more irresponcible with more disposable cash] I was in a warner brothers store and fell in love with a store fixture. The had a painted bronze life sized [ok, human sized] wile-e sitting in a chair in a bathrobe as one of the store fixtures. I sooooo wanted it sitting at my kitchen table to f@ck with my hung-over friends. The store manager said it wasn't for sale. The store manager also wouldn't take $3k cash to look the other way while it walked out the front door . Granted all the really cool stuff I did waste money on back then I no longer have [is a mavado really worth the money when all it does it tell time?] I still want that statue though. Unfortunately that particular WB store closed while I was in the navy so I never got the chance to loot, and I have never seen that particular statue again. Wile-e went fast and blew up often... kinda a theme in my life . And yes... I would buy that particular statue before buying a ve if you can believe such a statement from me
5. that and the fact that somebody is selling a complete set of reissues for $400 in the for sale section at the moment, somebody else has a max and milla pair for sale, monkey might still have a max and milla pair for sale, etc. I actually had the most problems getting a vf-1j as I'm a cheap ass and wasn't able to trade for that .
6. BLASPHEMER!!!! I was raised on Python and love it all, though some parts of MoL were dumb I admit. Man as an engineer you practically have to be able to quote half of Holy Grail to graduate, especially the witch/duck speach. 357702 Actually, you just named another big reason I hate this film. People who insist on quoting it ad nauseam. 357737 Hell yeah man, I hate that. And they do it in some lame ass fake Limie accent. They sound so lame I'd like to eat their souls. 357779 better off eating their still beating hearts as anybody who still quotes MP in a fake limey accent has no soul. Thats not against MP but rather against dumbasses in general who quote movies ad nauseam. God the number of really bad movie quotes I've had to hear over and over again... "dude, where's my car?" "warriors... come out and play-a" "what... behind the rabbit?" "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" "I'll be back" "schwing" [god do I hate wayne's world!] "it's not a tumor" [i actually don't mind that one to much ] "that's not a knife, this is a knife" [granted I have said that... but knives really were involved... or swords in my case anyways ] now I want to pay somebody to follow agent-one around for a day clapping coconut halves together and come on... the "How not to be seen" skit was friggin hilarious
7. LOL, you and just about every chick... I have never dated a girl that didn't like that movie. I however thought it was a tad lame. Certainly watchable though. 357409 Hey Agent Im curious have you ever Met Arnold in person? or saw him live? 357566 Yes. 357670 the only creature in the universe a1 is willing to "swallow" wait... I meant concede to... I was close although I'd bet a1 could be a better actor... if he could just lose that -.0007 lbs of flab guilty pleasure... fritz the cat 9 lives of fritz the cat meet the feebles wizards heavy metal apocalypse now vanishing point pale rider hang 'em high any bond flick indiana jones- raiders dune - the six hour version [and yes a1, all the drugs in the world... that I knew about at the time anyway ] fear and loathing in las-vegas [ apparently not enough or to much drugs as I've seen and enjoyed it a number of times and still don't have a clue ] Where the buffalo roam [bill murry shooting a fax machine... classic] caddy shack nothing but trouble deal of the century bad boys [i could suck on tia's legs for weeks without coming up for air ] blade runner [don't hate ] bondock saints [watch it if you haven't and judge for yourself]
8. Hey Toonz who is that asian girl as your avtar? Is there more pics of her? She is so freakin cute. I cant stop starring at here!! ughhh 357336 thank bobe-pat for having this link in his sig, exo for starting it and making it sticky, mindy for hosting it, and everybody who has contributed so far... "The Soon to be Legendary Hot Chick Cosplay Thread!!!" http://www.animepunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=83 as for toonz girl... if your real nice to bobe-pat and send him gifts you might get invited to see the shrines welcome aboard and welcome to being broke got any broken jetfires you want to sell hey... at least I said something relevant before asking the newbie that this time 357344 Hi, thanks for the link. No I do not have any broken Jetfires for sale. Sorry. But I will be listing 2 Joon Valkyries for sale on Ebay soon. Both are loose each with their Gunpod. One is green and the other is red with the 1J head. Does anybody know how much I could get these for? 357624 I should have said 1/55 instead of jetfire loose joon's... just sell them as "vintage 80's" and you will get a lot more. I saw a boxed joon's milla [i assume that is the red vf-1j of which you speak] sell for over $200!!!!! If you don't want to be misleading in your auction figure about $40-$50 for the milla and perhaps more for the green as they don't come up that often. On the other hand I have every joon's boxed [unless somebody proves with pictures that they made a 1a] and I didn't spend more than $50 for any of them... some cheaper than half that. As I think about it... I might be interested in the green one as the one I have has slight sanding marks on the underside of the tail assembly. That and I could pull my ve out of my spare joon's box. That or if you decide to ebay them and somebody here wins and wants to trade me an empty reissue super box for a joon's box
9. I always recall a quote about Clint Eastwood's early work that always makes me laugh "There are two types of people, those who enjoy Clint Eastwood westerns and dorks." Course, I'm not a huge fan of ALL Eastwood westerns, but all the Sergio Leone films with Eastwood were brilliant. The spaghetti westerns...yummy! A Fistfull of Dollars For A Few Dollars More The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Of course, Once Upon A Time In The West is Leone's magnum opus (of the Leone westerns I mean), but no Clint in that one 357546 did Sergio Leone do the drifter series as well? high plains drifter outlaw jossie whales hang 'em high Pale rider I might have a nice collection of pointies around the house, but my first gun purchase since getting married will be a navy colt.
10. I was going to say... prime it in black, paint it in dark grey, dry-brush it in gunmetal, then ink it in black. If I knew where that picture was I'd show you... having looked at what you have done I'd suggest for the future... prime it in black, paint it in dark grey, dry-brush it in whie, dry-brush it slightly lighter than the white in gunmetal, then ink it in black They look nice as is but I'm thinking you need slightly more contrast to show off the detail... or maybe better close up pics. Maybe some mechanical pencil panel lining would make up for it. oh yeah... for god sakes make the missles match! I know missles, like plane, are mass produced but going into a "stealth mission" somebody would have at least spray painted them black! Missles don't care what color they are as long as the explode so there is no reason for them not to be painted. For that touch of authenticity make sure the paintjob of the missles and valk don't match completely as they wouldn't on most flightlines
11. nice custom. I plan on making an anti gbp-1s soon. By that I mean as in the oiginal gbp it seemed suited for max, so everywhere it's red I'll make blue and everywhere it's blue I'll make read and my max and milla will sit side by side. Granted I have to do it 1/55 style but I still think it will be cool. It's how I plan on doing the pawns of my chess set... once I aquire the 1 crusader I need to complete it. 15 crusaders in a box of battletech bought by weight... why couldn't there have been 16 I also want to do a camo gbp-1s at some point... either urban or artic, I haven't decided which yet. Then there is the musha gbp-1s I'll be doing once I feel confident enough scratch building and recasting. I love musha armor but would rather drill holes in resin gbp than a valk. oh, oh... maybe a gbp seeker? No idea what purpose it would serve but it might look cool. Not like a gbp boosters were good for anything but jumping. Heck... I'll just get the shoulder missle launchers for all my 1/55's
12. some hippie's might take offence to that wait... I have a job and shower so I guess I'm just a pot-head so carry on "alice's resteraunt" and a slew of other movies rated there with it. Butterfield 8, whatever eastwood movie where he got stalked... "play misty for me" I believe it was called. what about viva las-vegas?!?!? I got my scale gt-40 from you so I know you loved that flic despite elvis... just for the cars I'd say 20 years sound about right... maybe as new as 15. I get confused because your car has to be 25yrs+ to get a antique plate in FL and 15yr's + to get a classic plate... neither of which is offered any more so really moot. I'd say at least before 1985... although I soooooo wanted to complain about the broderick godzilla it's not even funny. #hits of acid and the best part of the night was talking with the tow truck driver as he jimmied my friend door in the theatre parking lot because my friend locked the keys in it. Yeah... he was on acid to let me think... older movies... anything by stephen kind besides the original shining and silver bullet. Silver bullet wasn't good mind you... but at least it matched the book. Dune... till I realized I watched the edited version when I saw the 6hr version one night... which rocked musicals... though somebody said that quite well already. Not once in my life have I felt the desire to start singing in public and start a square dance let me tell you... maybe a mosh pit... but I still didn't sing ET... god I hate that friggin movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how about the toxic avenger?!?! yeah trauma films are funny in a [now] campy sort of way but it sure didn't live up to the hype. night of the comet a boy and his dog! one of my favorite stories by one of my favorite authors... and a great introduction to that ass-bag from miami vice, but the movie just didn't do it for me. somebody considers woody allen classic?!?!? was he it casino royale? Even slaughterhouse5 sucked compared to the book. was telly sevalis in any films before he had to start doing players club commercials to pay off his mob debt? was stalone ever in a good movie besides rambo [barely], demolishion man [saved only by dennis, stalone still sucked] and deathrace 2000 [good only because he died]? I will refrain from arnie bashing as A1 might have found out where I live by now

14. depends on where the street is. rural montana or down town DC . How would you like to be stuck behind that in rush hour traffic?
15. *kicks* Those are DISK images. The games weren't even on ROM chips to start with! ... Well, assuming you meant the Saturn version. The ST-V one IS on ROMs. And yes, it bothers me to see a technical term that actually refers to a specific piece of technology misused just because it's easier to write than "pirated software." 356698 pirated software is easy to write... just uce "ctrl"+ "c" pirated software pirated software pirated software pirated software pirated software pirated software see... and hey... abandonware is games that the developers gave up on so where does that fall? I can't believe they still want money for ultima1 can I get in trouble for offering "back-ups" of "thrill kill" as it was never released and the psx-1 is outdated now... and I mean in trouble by anti piracy rather than yuppie moms who are offended by scantily clad sadistic nurses in fish net's stabbing people with needle's?
16. my post never appears without picture... it just dis-appears. I've learned to "ctrl" "c" my post before attempting to attach a pic. Pic size does play a large factor I've noticed. Apparently so does the "manage your attachments" part of your mw. Limited to the number of pics we can post as well as the size of said pics. Try going through your " Manage Your Attachments" in your MW "control panel" and deleting some stuff. When the boards revised the most recent time I couldn't post any pics till I did some selective weeding
17. challenge accepted and met http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1 Item number: 6025034186 MACROSS 7 BANDAI VF-19S BLAZER VALKYRIE 1/65 SCALE MIB Bidding has ended for this item at US $53.50.
