Anyone here got Hooked On Classics: I can name every tune in there, ditto for all the 'Stars on 45' compilation. Hooked on Classics was done with a modern twist to sell to youngsters as classical music sales dropped.

I know my build process is slow and erratic, there is a reason for that? Many of my builds are the x-times I do a kit and thus I try to do new things with them. Example: I must have build about 50 F-4 Phantons over the decades. Plus, I tend to mount them on bases/diorama. 2 major earthquakes cost me a lot of good kits/buildups that can't be replaced. 3/11 was the weasker one of those. I prefer the building process over the collecting one and build for my own enjoyment.

Chas. Will do so. Since I am still in the hospital I asked my GF do drop of some kits that I can assemble and paint later. I really love this hospital, since it deals with mental issues it feels more like a resort. Nothing like you see in movies but pricey. Currently working on a SD MV-22 Osprey with Futenma markings, a Beargguy where I lost the mono-eye. Not really a disaster as I will replace it with one I make myself. SD Scopedog is next.

Build had the usual probs with this kit. I didn't do any mods this time, except stripping the plating and making it non transformable/fixed pose. It is the old 1/12 IMAI kit of the bike and Stick/Ley and will be used in a Diorama once I am out of the Hospital.

It is still in process currently waiting for paint but it will not be the Mospeada scheme.

Japan got hot very quick this year so added a tatami mattress and pillow to my bed for the total cost of 216yen. Nice smell and it feels cool. We used the same mats decades ago on beaches in Greece. Will finish the Beargguy today to surprise my Nurse tomorrow. P.S.: Love the smell of fresh tatami. Got a bamboo wind chime too.

Don't recall the original movie, but than as an European I am used to the stories that the Grimm Bothers collected. Most of them are far from the Disney, etc versions, very dark etc. Looks to me that Jolie was the right choice but the movie suffers from a sub par script. Was hoping more for a version like the little Red Hiding Hood movie.

Nothing at all, most take my builds in their strike. Usually we end up talking about preferences as them being Japanese they grew up with a lot of that stuff? My MA Weapon collection is another topic as many are real aka sharp and I got the Cert's that I am trained in them?

Tking22. Dragon is releasing 4 Iron-Man kits from the 3rd Movie, all 1/24 sells for 1037Yen here. Got their Thor kit and it is nice. Looking forward to the next Max Factory Dougram Kit.

I wasn't going to see the film in cinemas, bit disappointed from what I hear but waiting for reviews from friends. Personally think Jolie is well suited for the role, but not too surprised lost a LOT of respect for Disney.

I think I might have made a SNAFU and might get a few more items. Thanks to my J-GF who receives the shipments. Current plan is to build up a good stash so that I can focus on a few big ticket items later on, helps that stuff I want has been shrinking over the Years. Many of those are from sales, etc. I build pretty much anything but been neglecting figure kits recently.

You have seen the PIC of the deformed Yamato, tomorrow I start on another one that will get Deluxe parts and will be joint by a carrier, the Musashi and a P-38 Plane. Another fleet is also growing tomorrow got the 2nd & 3rd ships from the Yamato anime, 2 more will soon be released.

Ordered a few Motorbike models, really like the 1/12 Scale your figures too. Currently in that scale I got Honda Monkey Police Bike, Tiger & Bunny Chasers, Mospeada Ride Armor, Powered Suit, Silent Moebius figure. Waiting for: Honda 600cc Steed/Shadow Yamaha XV1000 Virago Yamaha XV1600 Road/Drag/Wild Star Yamaha 1200cc V-Max(Custom) I prefer Choppers(non-american), Naked Bikes and Touring Bikes for riding, not into Sports/Super bikes. I prefer to do my own customising.

Getting a big delivery from my PW tomorrow(JST). Includes Wave Option parts, Glues, Clear Epoxy and kits from Layzner, Votoms, Cyber Formula, Yamato, Gundam, Macross some SD Kits and a Ferrari 348TS. I blame the HLJ sales for many of those. And that shipping for me is only 1080Yen per order, regardless of size/numbers.

I love the Wave option parts, tools and other stuff like glues and good Japanese online store should have them. For the clear visor I think heat smashing/vacuum forming is your quickest and best method, you can use clear blister packs for it. Common in scale modeling to make thinner copies of clear canopies.

Here is how I make Jewel Eyes, Sensors, Lights and the like. Materials used: Wave H-Eyes green, Decoration Tape(at any stationary shop). The decoration tape is reflective silver on the sticky side. Attach to back of the sensor. I use H-Eyes as they come in green, pink and clear and many shapes(Round, Gundam Eyes, Wingtip lights). Right is trimmed. Usually I use clear ones and colour them myself using clear colours. And closer shot. I use white/wood glue attach all clear parts and here too. Pretty easy and it is done quickly. Of course you can use kit supplied clear parts too.
