  1. The first disc of Gurren can be bought here in the US, has the first 9 eps for like 20 bucks. On topic I just snagged Lazengann from BBTS so that should be here in a few days. I haven't bought a revoltech since the first run with Dante, but a lot of the new releases look really good.
  2. Happened upon a Voyager Prime the other day and contrary to my previous thoughts, said what the hell, and bought it anyways. Overall I'm pretty impressed, though I wish his axe was as accurate as he was. Sadly he can strike as many dynamic poses as his Cybertron version, but still a nice figure. As for the automorph, I'm not quite sure if mine is broken or what. The release lever thing on his back does nothing, pivoting the waste feels more like a slightly stubborn ratchet joint. All in all though, another win for the animated line.
  3. Ender has been tossed up a few times, so I second...or third the suggestion. A really great series.
  4. I'm not too sure Protoss = Zentradi other than the fact that they (and the Zerg) were created by the Xel'naga. In any case, perhaps blizz will, perhaps they wont. And yes the hybrid is supposed to make an appearance.
  5. Well I just cracked mine out of the box and I'm just floored. This thing is a work of plastic art. The transformation, while complex, is fairly intuitive. Once I got it started I really didn't even need the Yamato guide. I really like the transformation process, it feels solid and I didn't feel like I might break something (like the neck on the 19, which was a bit scary that first time). I'm really just blown away by the whole thing. My 21 is spotless, no signs of any QC issues at all. Joints are all tight (and most are ratchets anyways) and all the pieces are correct and where they should be.
  6. Yeah I can't wait for him either. He looks bang on to the show. Hopefully the automorph is minimal, but I'll probably snag him regardless.
  7. I think they were pretty explicit about no photos of this thing when the prototype was shown recently. That's not to say there couldn't have been a leak, but I imagine it'd have shown up by now.
  8. Deathrace http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452608/ did we really need another?
  9. This is by far one of my favorite Valk designs. While I suppose this wasn't a huge surprise, I'm definitely glad it's in the works and already coming along.
  10. I was jonesing to pick one up until I read about the automorph. I utterly detest the feature on my Transformers, it's part of what killed my interest in the movie line. I'll stick with the deluxes for now I suppose since the seem too small to incorporate automorph into them.
  11. Because Moore has always been 100% forthcoming about things and never ever ever tries to throw the fans off...ever. My money is someone on that Basestar, regardless of that damned last supper fodder. I see countless theories about Dee or Gaeta, ffs these characters have been all but phased out, especially Dee. Most people didn't care about them before, and they have become even less important now. That photo was a nice piece of advertising, Ron didn't even come up with the idea. They shot dozens of different versions with different cast members on some as well.
  12. Well I got all 4 of the Animated figures I ordered so I'll go ahead and post my thoughts. I wound up getting Prowl, Jazz, Cybertron Prime and Soundwave. Prowl: A great little figure with a neat transformation. Mine has no paint issues are loose joints. That being said, I can definitely see the hips becoming floppy with continued transformations. All in all I was very impressed with this figure. Jazz: This guy is probably my favorite of the four I bought. The color scheme and transformation reminds me of good ol' G1 Jazz. All his joints are nice and tight and feel like they'll stay that way. The transformation, like all the animated figures, is fairly simple, but still fun. If i had to gripe on Jazz, it'd be he had a small paint drop on his right front tire, but that was easily removed. Cybertron Prime: Like most of the reviews on here, it's difficult to find fault with this figure. Fun transformation, tight joints and perfect paint (on mine anyways) make this a really great addition to the collection. He also has a fairly nice range of motion on his joints. Soundwave: Now here is probably the most disappointing of my four Animated figures. Transformation is fun and probably the most complex of the ones I bought. I really dig the sculpt on this guy, very true to the show with some solid reminders of the old Soundwave. Paint application on mine was as near perfect as can be. My biggest gripe is his knees, which are so damn loose right out of the box. I'll need to fix em at some point. Though all in all, he can still stand on h is own two feet. I'm looking forward to snagging a Voyager Prime as soon as I can find one. All in all great figures.
  13. I have Prowl, Cybertronian Prime, Soundwave and Jazz coming from BBTS next week. I'll post my impressions of them when they arrive. I can't wait.
  14. Yeah Adama's pretty much always worn it. It seems that until Laura came along, Bill was never really over his previous wife/marriage.
  15. Those little plastic dealies that hide the gap between the chest and the back I think. Didn't they come with the GBP set or something?
  16. All I can say for now is, awesome. I'll have to watch it at least 2 more times to digest it all properly. Leoben returns next week, it's about damn time.
  17. Wes, here's a page with full hybrid transcripts http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Hybrid_utterances. It is missing the one from this season, but it has all the others.
  18. That is probably the most interesting article I've read on that image period. Thanks for the link.
  19. With Cally gone, my hated characters list is actually empty. Unlike say...Kat or Ellen, they didn't redeem Cally in the end. She really was about to a pretty despicable thing. I was glad to see her ass airlocked.
  20. I'm almost scared to mention my 3 complete (100%) play-throughs >.<. I hadn't bothered with 100% on any previous GTA's, but I couldn't stop playing San Andreas. Seemed like every time I kicked the game, it game back.
  21. The immersion really did it for me in San Andreas. Also the majority of the game took place in California, which is I live/grew up. Achievements are strangely addicting. However, like DMC4, GTA just feels right on Playstation. If the PC San Andreas was any indication though, that would work too.
  22. I was excited about this game when I first saw the trailer, but really it's increased exponentially as of late. This game looks to be what GTA should be. I'll probably pick it up on PS3 just because I've played the others on the Sony consoles. San Andreas was my favorite, so hopefully they take some of the things that made that one awesome to the next level.
  23. I'll probably pick a few of these up. BBTS can sometimes charge a bit more, but Joel is a stand up guy and I've been doing business with him for years. I imagine when I get around to ordering it'll be from him. Their service is really top notch in my book.
  24. Even if it is an ok movie, is it Blu-Ray ok? By that I mean, most Blu-Ray releases are 10-15 bucks more than their standard def counterpart. With the quality of that animation, is it worth spending the extra scratch to get the "high-def" version? edit: spelling
