  1. New Galaxy Railways Planetes Fafner Area 88 Rahxephon Full Metal Alchemist Big-o! Old Nadesico Captain Harlock Excel Saga Blue Seed Movies Voices of a Distant Star A place Promised in Our Early Days Five Star Stories Akira Macross Be Forever Yamato Read Or Die Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam 0083:stardust memory Mobile Suit Gundam 0080:War in the Pocket Mobile Suit Gundam: The Movies Mobile Suit Gundam: Chars Counter Attack Zeta Gundam Double Zeta Gundam Victory Gundam Gundam Seed as far releases this year are concerned, te two iam most excited about are Planetes and Galaxy Railways. I've read the manga, Planetes, and i own volume one on dvd, i can say that its one of my favorite animes of all time with a solid plot and wonderfull charecters. Galaxy Railways was awesome, classic Leji Mitsumoto, its like star trek meets thomas the tank engine. If you want a really hevy anime, go with Rahxephon. In my opinion its beter than Evangelion, but no where near as ground breaking, and there arent alot of happy moments, something Evangelion has over Rahxephon. Gundam 0083, is brutally tragic yet wonderfully light hearted.
  2. I jist have to say this I saw 0083 last week, ia'm currently watching 08th MS team, i finished Gundam Seed, and i have 20 unwatched Gundam Seed Destiny eps on my HD. I loved 0083, although i can see why so many people hated it, the plot holes, like what was the relationship between nina and Kelly, and did nina help build the Gerbera tetra? etc. but i still loved it, 08th MS team is good, but not necissary to watch for gundam fans, it reminds me of MASH with giant robots. Gundam Seed was good, but it still pissed me off. Like how the mecha look cool, but not realistic at all, and of course the angsty emo teen thing pissed my off. Of the parts of Zeta Gundam i have seen, i can say that it was a great sequil to the orriginal seiries. I've seen footage of the movie and it looks really new, and with Zeta Gundam Vol.1 being released in the U.S. this october, i can predict that bandai might bring the Zeta Gundam movies to the U.S. in 2006.
  3. Starship Troopers: Bad actors in over-done bad movie plot with cool looking ships and war scenes. Macross II: Recycled Plot with bad dubbing, but has beautifull mecha and good animation. all ia can think of.
  4. I began collecting DBZ and Gundam Wing back when they were first getting really popular. I tried building gundam madels but my lack of experience was my tradjic downfall. After i saw a few episodes of DBGT, i lost all faith in the seires. But my gundam faith remained strong as the 08th Ms team and 0080 showd up on CN. when i saw 0083 that made me buy imported gundam merchendise. When adult swim came allong, i fell in love with almost ever anime they dished out.(exept that nightmare pilot canidate) throgh thase years i mostly baught Gundam Stuff. I had a pretty big collection. In 2003 back when G4tv was still G4tv, i saw a reveiw of Robotech Battlecry. I was captivated by the mecha designs. I rented the game and soon after i bought the DVD's. I was hooked. Between DVD's i bought as many Robotech Toys as i could find. My first being the VF-1j MPC. my collection statyed around Super posables, and the SD morphers. I could rarely afford MPC. Somewhere between the Masters and the Next Generation i learned of Macross. I saw DYRL? in may of 2003, After that all i wanted was macross. I bought all the macross DVD's on the US Market with in one week. I bought model kits from on line stores, in bulk, I got my firs Yomato 1/60 off of ebay, and finally i bought all the Animego DVD's from Twin Moons. I did'nt get my first 1/48 until the chrismass of 2003. in 2004, besides some buying of the Alpha posables, the new comic series, and one more 1.48 valk, my Macross collection started to cool off. I saw macross 7 that summer, for the record, i liked very much, but i never bought and merchendise. By late 2004 my macross collection had grown to ample size, not anywhere near sithloards, but good enough for me. The price of macross toys is what kept me from buying them reguarly. So i decided to stop collectiong macross mainly. After macross i wantr back to gundam model kits. Gundam Seeds Suprising release in the staed gave me good reason to buy some merchendise. When i moved to texas in the summer of 2004, i found places carring Gundam models for very cheap. and i stoked up. As 2005 approached i shifted my focus to a genre that had not focused on in quite some time. Star Wars. With revenge of the sith, released Star Wars mechendise has flooded the market. With the money i have i could buy 4 or 5 SW action figures a week, more than the total ammount of macross stuff i got in a half a year. Thats where i am today. Star Wars, my latest and Cheapest collection yet.
  5. I Just got my first lightsaber today. The Force FX Darth Vader. Its really a wonderfull collecters peice. the only thing i noticed is that the lightsaber is not as heavy as it was told to be in the Empire of Dreams documentary. But thats no where near enough to ruin the coolness of this thing.
  6. I have the double sided poster, simply awesome.
  7. 1/60 VT-01 "Super Ostrich" 1/72 Vf-11b "Thunderbolt" fastpacks 1/48 Vf-1s "Hikaru Valkyrie" VF-1J "Hikaru TV Valkyrie" with fastpackes. I have never had much intrest in Yamato beyond the 1/48 line. I would like to buy a monster one day, if i ever have the money.
  8. U.N. Spacy database/Uniforms I hope this helps.
  9. Nice job, It makes me realy want the Green alpha. Damn this has been an expensive month.
  10. God that fighter is ugly. When i first saw the traler for the movie i could tell this was gonna be another no plot all special effects summer crap storm movie. Looks like jamie foxx has run outa luck
  11. Ive been wanting to say a few things about the alpha MPC for a while now. I got the Scott alpha for christmass, after collecting 3 of the VT MPC's i didn't expect much. I didn't like it at first. After i put the stickers on i began to warm up to the design a bit more. But like the Rick MPC, it suffered from loose joints and the inability to hold its gun up properly. But the little things a liked, such as the ability to peg the gun to the hand so it does'nt fall off. Over all iliked it, so i ordered the Rook MPC. It was a major step up. The joints were tighter, the legs did't colapse unwillingly, and of course it looked really cool with stickers. The only problem was that the left hand keeps falling off Even with this in mind i will be buying the Lancer alpha next week. I probobly won;t buy the Voltron MPC. With toynamis reputation i don't want them to ruin another vague childhood memory.
  12. here This site was very helpfull when I got into Space battleship Yamato. Oh yeh the movies are masterpeices, especially Be forever Yamato and Final Yamato.
  13. Patlabor 2 then patlabor 1. I have to say out of all of the patlabor movies 2 was the best. Try to steer clear of WXIII. Macross plus is fine if you have never seen any other macross before. until the last 2 parts, the you'll probobly wonder what the macross is and why it's so important. Akira, is really a must see. but you probobly wont under stand it unless you see it two more times. Ghost in the shell are able two stand alone with out any refrence to GITS SAC or manga. And of course Macross DYRL? but thats a given.
  14. My favorite macross toy is the 1/48 VF-1j Hikaru. My Favorite non macross toy? i guess the Masterpeice Prime.
  15. Hi! I didnt use paint, but Macromedia FW is still pretty close.
