    You know, I can remember robotech fans tossing great idea's HG's way for things they could include in their new sideproject. This one dude specifically wrote them a whole story outline, and all they gave him for his trouble was a ban. It even looks like he wrote his story in memo-ese to make it more understandable for HG & the remainder of their fans. I don't know about you guys, but that's totally a movie I'd watch.

    Fact of the matter is, if you asked a group of 80's pop culture afficianado's, they'd be much more inclined to remember Voltron than Robotech. As the care level goes down, Robotech's notoriety drops even futher. There are only two groups in the U.S. that care about Robotech's impact on anime. Macross fans, and what's left of the robotech fanbase, which is dying a little bit every day.

    I really don't see all the comparison with Black Swan, as Black Swan sucked and didn't have an ESPER manager manipulating a crazed fan into terrorizing an idol. But that's me.

    That's the price to get a recent & popular series without having it be seriously gimped somehow from its R2 counterpart. Fair in my book, but your milieage may vary.

    You mean something like "the majority of our fans have told us they don't like HD TV's, and don't plan to upgrade in the future, so we're releasing this fullscreen." Yeah, that sounds like them.

    This of course brings up the obvious question, are they going to crop the LLA footage, or is their new animation going to be 4:3...for that matter, do I even care?

    But, but, but, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!! Nearly all the new footage from Mospeada contradicts the changes to the ending made for the shadow chronicles. I think someone needs to take away Tommy Yune's medical protoculture card. Also lol, Macel looks high in that poster they have on the news page.

    No offense, but aren't those just traced? If not, then they're very well done. But they look kinda traced...

    I was under the impression that while they changed a lot of the ship models to CG in TOS, the TNG remaster would still be using the same model footage with new phaser blasts, computer screens & whatnots added in.

    Except it was no less of an effort to completely redo all the effects shots. I think the major difference is 7 seasons vs 3.

    To hell with that, I'm totally watching it raw as soon as I get it, and hell, might even play the game first.

    Excellent, hopefully they have playable characters to match, specifically the second type you mentioned.

    CDJapan still has the preliminary box art up, and amazon has the final box art up. Now about those famitsu scans, you can't tease something like that and not deliver!!

    Yeah, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is getting a pretty sweet bluray release, and Funimation is joining up with nico nico for streaming shows!
