  1. We know 100% sure Delta won't happen for Arcadia, Bandai had already hinted at Delta product.
  2. If they wanted to do that stand they should make the fast packs with that stand in mind (ie, a couple little peg holes for it to attach by). Since the V2 has that plate that goes under the backpack I'd be a little less worried about the strain on the backpack.
  3. Battroid mode is the best looking mode to me but there are some serious issues... but who knows how well this transformation was done. For example, the backpack is sitting way too low but they're on sliders so maybe someone just forgot to slide the sides of the backpack to the proper position? Is there no twist point at the knee? Even Toynami figured that one out. There should also be twist points a quarter down the feet to let the feet camber in but those are missing. As noted by others, there's no neck and the intakes and thighs are too thin. The design of battroid with those two extensions upward is God-awful but that's not Evolution's fault.. though the tabs on top certainly are. I find it funny how glaringly awful that design element is but Kawamori made a similar mistake on the VF-0 series (ie. from any angle you won't be able to see the vehicle's head... and it wouldn't be able to see you). It would have taken at least one hinged part on either side to better conceal the shoulders in fighter mode but at this price that should have been easily done. Somebody said this looks better than the DX V1 VF-25... I think the jury is still out. Does this have an opening cockpit? Will there be a pilot? Do the hips attach to anything in GERWALK mode?
  4. It's not a licensing issue but a differentiation issue. Arcadia was formed as a means of dumping debt, creditors were probably burned. Those creditors can't perceive Arcadia as being the same company, just a company with a founder that happened to buy a lot of Yamato assets... or so I'm apt to believe.
  5. It definitely looks superior to Yamato's V1 1/60 toys.
  6. You won't need it.
  7. Why would you think Arcadia has that license?

No, if they did it it'd be dx presumably.
  9. Yeah, I'd agree, the vf4 is so unique and the hi metals are higher volume so probably easier to catch up with later.

    A local HK shop?
  11. They never did figure out how to make an attractive box.

5% isn't the biggest discount in the world but it's still below MSRP. Some retailers might have gone as high as 15% with the discount.
  13. I'm looking forward to the box. Arcadia does the nice flip top lids so it should be an improvement over the Yamato.
  14. I'm guessing all these pics are of a yamato toy since they're not up for order yet, not a mock up of any kind.

Angolz just listed the hmr regult if anyone is still looking.
  16. Just went to order this. It looks like you can order it but it also looks like it's out of stock. I'd assume it's out of stock and they just let you order in case they get more? Not sure I trust that. Does anyone know of a place where it's in stock? Edit - Duh, amazon is all over it.
  17. I don't know, this was a super niche product and they're releasing the same exact paint scheme so of the few that would ever buy this toy (especially at this price) most already have it. I really doubt they'll make a killing off this. It may prove profitable because some will swoop it up expecting it to be an investment piece or to avoid the chance they can't get it later.
  18. Ooh preordered, thanks. Private warehouse may work out for these guys
  19. Vf1, license much more expensive than vf4.
  20. This paint scheme? None. It was in a video game. The vehicle was in "Flashback 2012", a bit of post DYRL animation.
  21. So the problem with the fact that rates are much better now is that China linked its currency to the US economy. Theoretically that would mean that the Yen cost of these toys should go up by the amount the exchange rate has improved so we should still end up paying around $320. It's been a while since I followed this stuff though and I think I read that China devalued their currency in the face of their current economic downturn so hopefully that improves things.
  22. Not saying anything definitively but that was my understanding. They may have won the license again though if Bandai didn't up the ante on them.
  23. For all you people who wonder why we don't get low vis paint schemes, there is your answer. The jet junkies love em, the usual buyers find them boring.
  24. What makes you think they have the license? I had heard otherwise, that it was pulled in advance of Delta for rebidding.
  25. Man, I have some toys to sell you!
