    I was wondering, how many MkVII vipers are left. In the mini it looked like they had several, and we only "see" Mk II's being destroyed in subsequent battles, but after this past episode when Tyrol was talking to Lee about all the Vipers being down, he made it sound like Lee's was the only Mk VII. Could just be missinterpreting what he said. Any thoughts?

    I think that was the point that the President was trying to make to both the Adama's. Without being blunt about it.

    And as for Happy's remark about Helo and the Cylon. I think most if not all of us here could figure out it was NO accident that he survived the cylon attack in the bar. I haven't seen past this episode yet, but as someone else said...keep watching. I think you are to use to things being wraped up all neat and tidey at the end of each episode...ala trek. That's the difference between episodic tv and a Saga which is what Galactica is.

    On a side note, DVD plans are in the works already...Uni and Sci fi already knows they can sell the first season (after they air of course)

    I hope so, and hopefully we won't have to wait a rediculously long time to get it either! Like we had to for the mini. I understand, but still don't like, why the series was aired first in the UK but we also had to wait over a year after the mini aired before we got it on DVD! When crap like the simple life gets pumped out in record time!!!

    Not available in your country or something? Just curious, as I never got the downloading thing.  Usually it's just teens who want everything for free.

    Because these aren't on DVD? Show me where they are. I can't believe they would publish them on DVD before they've even aired.

    Sorry...for some reason, I thought you were downloading the original series. On a side note, DVD plans are in the works already...Uni and Sci fi already knows they can sell the first season (after they air of course) and six scripts ordered for the second season before US air date of first is almost unheard of.

    I hope it catches on, and I hope it gets good. I could use a good scifi weekly TV series! (and all the models to go with it! )

    Here Here!!! I'm really looking forward to the series and some hopeful models also! The mini and from what I've heard the series is exactly what I've been wanting for Sci-fi....the genre not the channel...for a long time. Too much sci-fi ended up having forced comedy or too many cliche's (spelling) ie...techno bable or they are scifi/adventure, to me, meaning light-hearted. So far I'm really impressed with this.

    Are those "watermarks" seen on the screen captures? (red circle-4 and jibberish)Are they on the screen for the duration of each episode?

    No, those watermarks are not there. He uses existing Fan-subs like ANBU. Then puts them on DVD. Quality on mine is terrific!

    I love the new Galactica! Loved it when it came out a year ago. Bought the DVD still love it! NBC's edited version wasn't to bad but I hope no one bases thier opinion of the new show off of it. It was a little jumpy at times by cutting scenes or even moving them around alittle. But still not bad.

    OK, just did a search by seller on EBAY. It's listed on his second page alittle more then half way down. $8.00 shipped to the U.S. says he'll ship worldwide but it might be more. No auction time was listed but it says 38 are available, I think it might be his Ebay store or something. Hope this helps, I'm really happy with my copy. A few of the episodes are ANBU not sure who did the other ones, but I totally know what is going on. Hope you like great price for great product IMHO!

    Hey everyone, Sorry I forgot I posted here :p . OK I'll try to post the link to what his auction looked like but the sellers name is twopieceinarow . In the auction he states that it has perfect subtitles and flawless grammer. He's from San Jose, CA. I'm sure you can do a search for his auctions to see if he is selling more, or even ask if he'll make a copy if he isn't selling them.

    I got a 1 disc FAN-sub version. It ROCKS!!!! Picture and sound quality is excellent. the guy must have ripped them to DVD. I have a few single DVD's picture and sound quality is equal if not better than some of those. Can't remember the sellers name but in the description he says the translation is perfect.....I'd say he was pretty accurate!

    For those of us that have been waiting more than a year for the Yellow Submarine planes....particularly the FFR-31 Sylphid, like me..........they appear to be delayed AGAIN!!!! :angry: According to HLJ. Now they show the date as Jan.!

    Who thinks that'll happen. :rolleyes:
