  1. Interesting. From Cinescape website:

Recent reports published by STAR WARS and movie film websites have hinted that George Lucas may be considering making a third STAR WARS trilogy of films. Last week an anonymous email was sent to this website from someone claiming that non-disclosure agreements had been presented to employees of Industrial Light & Magic pertaining to working on EPISODES VII - IX of the space opera. With rumors that a STAR WARS television series was quietly in development (we've heard it as well), could Lucas be entertaining the notion of going back to his original plan of making nine STAR WARS movies?

E! Online decided to check with Lucasfilm about the rumor. According to Lucasfilm representative Lynn Fox, the story is 100% incorrect and there was never an NDA for a third STAR WARS movie trilogy issued to employees. "STAR WARS EPISODE III -- REVENGE OF THE SITH is our last and final installment," Fox told E! Online. What is interesting to note is that while the Lucasfilm rep dismissed the movie trilogy, the door was left open for a TV series.

  2. I could've swore I heard somewhere that there is a possibility of the saga continuing.....possibly in a TV series.... I wish I could find that refrence. I'm pretty sure it said that they weren't certain what format it would be ie, animated, live actor series or movie. That might be what the gag order is about. I wouldn't be supprised if it is animated for a few reasons,

    1. Lucas is starting an animation studio in HK I believe

    2. The success of the Clone wars animated micro-series

    3. It would be easier to continue with the original cast since there is a 20 year difference now....if of course he wanted to do a direct continuation.

  3. A little of topic, but with all the discusion of the different versions of the films....

Has anyone seen the IMAX version of ATOTC. It was actually VERY good IMO. I actually prefered it to the theatrical version. They removed most of the cheesy love stuff, BUT, left just enough (and what was left was the more mature parts) so that the relationship was actually believable(spelling).

  4. If you already own a PS2 can I still have it modded? I'm not computer savy at all but I really want to play import games....especially Macross! Is it possible or safe to send the PS2 to some one who can then Mod it if thier isn't any place near where I live? Thanks.

  5. Just Confirming what a few others have said. I'm an Air Traffic Controller, the official language of Aviation is English. Now, in-non english speaking countries I'm sure pilots and controllers will speak thier native languages but as Knight 26 stated ALL pilots MUST be able to speak and understand english. If we get a pilot....even an airline pilot, that can't understand us or we can't understand them, then that flight won't be going anywhere until it can be completely understood.

  6. Hey David,

I already have a Fujumi F-14D "tomcatters" kit, but I'm interested in the guide idea. I'd love to make an accurate as possible Shin Tomcat! What I really need though is the squadron markings, kill markings, and pilots names. I already have the UN spacey low vis symbol from a custom decal sheet i got off of HLJ. Anyone making custom Shin markings?

  7. This is cool I guess....something is better than nothing <_< I agree, I wish they would start putting out injection models of these birds. As for this particular aircraft......I don't understand why they don't put out the FFR-31 Sylphid (cannon fodder from the first episode) that is a much better design I believe Master Cheng would agree :D . We both want to see that baby!

  8. Hobby link Japan show 2 new Bandai kits coming! the U.S.S. Voyager and the Enterprise A. Both will be in the same scale as the first Enterprise release but no pictures yet  . I wonder wether the Enterprise A will be an updated kit, i.e better fit with some of the wiring pre done, and a slightly different paint scheme, or will it be the same kit with an "A" added on.

  9. Just got my GBP armor set and GBP with Valk at lunch (thanks Neova). No time to play with them yet as I'm still at work, but I did take the armor set out of the box to have a quick look and it's pretty nice.

I'll try and do a review, but no promises, as my son is due to be born in the next 5 days, so as you can imagine I have other things on my mind rather than toy reviews.

Congrats Graham! Little Roys is coming. Wheee!!

We expect pics and a full review of your new arrival when he gets here! :) Seriously, congrats Graham. I'd suggest lots of caffeine the next few days and if you don't smoke you might want to think about starting...at least until the first month is over.

He He! My little guy is gonna be 1 year this thursday June 3rd, time sure does fly!! Just think of the first 3 1/2 to 4 months like a boot-camp! Very little sleep and LOTS of adjustment and stress!! ;) But when it's done and they smile and laugh for the first time....it is SO worth it!! and the time really does go pretty quick!

  10. The pictures really aren't that great due to the indoor lighting, alot of the subtle details can't be seen such as some "faded" panels or the "ribbing" effect that came out. you can sort of make it out in some of the pictures though. When I take the "finished pictures I'll do it out doors!!! :D

  11. Hello everyone, well I'm not totally finished yet ( moving is a bitch!!!)but the weathering is done, just need to finish the weapons and touch up the clear parts, oh yeah and fix that vertical stab antenna. This is essentially the finished bird though. Again for those who haven't seen this post or read anything said earlier, this entire model is brush painted including the weathering (used brushed on pastel dust) Hope you enjoy! I'll post the finished pics in a week or two hopefully with a display base, after I'm settled in my new place. ;)
