    Most combat aircraft are matte, not shiny. Blue Angels and such are shiny because they are for air shows, and the public. Same goes for airliners. They want their birds to look clean, a pretty. Something reflective and glossy would be a detriment to your survivability in combat. Space, or otherwise.

    Just picked up an unopened Megahouse Klan Klang off of Mandarake for 7k yen. I am not into collecting provocative figures, but trying to get all of the main frontier mecha in scale poses difficulty when trying to secure a scale for Klan. This should suffice.

    Belly could be thicker without sacrificing too much of the fighter sleekness. If the leg gap filling mechanism in Bandai's VF-19 is any indication of possibilities, I think either company can come up with something to help keep the legs thick.

    As others have said, I would like to see a v2 of the 21/22 mold. As awesome as they are, and I have all of them, I really think they would benefit from a second go. If Bandai somehow gets there first under the Macross 30 license, or something I'll be just as happy.

    Pretty sure the bandai DX Valkyries are closer to 1/60 than 1/72. I would call them 1/60ish.

    Which is exactly what I did after I took the pictures. I didn't really fiddle with them, until I put them back on the shelves. I like the stockier look of having the short ankles.

    The other nice thing about frontier is that they showed them being jetissoned or cached when entering atmosphere. I thought that was a nice detail. You see Gilliam do this in the first episode, and it is also done in the Galia 4 episode.

    There may be some trick, but the biggest issue is going to be that those stickers are over a decade old. Depending on how they were stored, the adhesive may just be ineffective at this point.
