Looks like I'm going to be buying some new Valks. I never thought they'd do the VF-22 Max & Millia, and here we are. I've wanted those Valkyries for the last 13 years or so. Randy

Well I didn't think they'd actually do it but they did, they hooked me back in. I haven't bought any Macross merchandise since the 1/48th Max & Millia were released, now they're producing new 1/55 scale - I'm back! Randy

I have all of the reissues from a few years ago, so I can't see buying these two. If they do some that weren't reissued or were never released to begin with, then I'd be game. But as it is, these are too expensive and I already have them. Randy

If I recall correctly the reissues use more paint applications (instead of stickers) than the originals do too. Randy

MP Starscream should be a work of art. It'll be like a Yamato Valkyrie design aesthetics, higher durability, and a great robot design. I'm so pleased Kawamori has a part in this. It'll be fantastic. Now they need to make Skywarp and Thundercracker and release them simultaneously. Randy

I need some more Gunbuster in my life. The SoC will do nicely. Randy

Pretty cool. I like the stealth one, but I don't think I'll be getting these due to the $$$. Randy

The Hikaru doll is beautiful, and I will own it. It's very expensive though. I hope that they release some of the female characters as well, and do different sized bodies (for Roy, etc) or the line will get dull quick. Randy

I must say once agian, how much it pleases me that they got Mari Iijima to do Lynn Minmay's voice again. Too awesome! The familiarity with her voice sells me, and it makes me feel like it's really Macross (though in English) and not someone's elses interpretation of Macross (like how Robotech was). Randy

My brother picked this set up. I didn't know it was released yet. I have the Animeigo ones from all those years ago, but I may pick this set up someday once it's all released. I did like the dub. It seemed they changed the language to be a little more to today's standards, with "crap" and "fricking". I liked most of the voices. Hikaru's is still strange to me. I guess it's hard for me to accept another voice actor than Arihiro Hase. I would have liked him to sound a little less young. Minmay was very good. I think a lot of it has to do that I recognize the way her voice sounds, and a lot of her words and noises are the same. It makes me very happy that they casted Mari Iijima for this. If it were any other way, I think I'd watch a couple episodes and that's it. But with Mari, I'll watch the whole series, just to see her portray the part that I love so much. I noticed some sounds from Transformers and Go-Bots thrown in the battle sequences. Definetly threw me off a bit. Nice to see them try and bring some new life to the sound effects, not that it needed it though. Though I do like Britai and Exedole's voices, I really wish they would have went with at least a similar sound effect to the original voice actors. It made them seem more alien, and further humanized the Zentradi when they were Micronized. Randy

I've been out of the loop. I'm going to have to snag a set of these. Man, why did they make the VF pilot Max the chase instead of the Meltrani version. Randy

This is hot. I've always been a big fan of Gunbuster since like 1994. It was the third anime I saw. Love the series, might be my all time favorite (besides Macross). Randy

Wow, just when I thought I'd never see another 1/48th again, they finally do a VF-1A Cannon Fodder. Randy

I'd prefer it with the Hikaru VF-1J (since I don't have that one) or a VF-1A tan (cannon fodder). Randy

I always wanted the Yellow Submarine DYRL dress Minmay. But couldn't afford it when it was readily available, now it's no where. Randy

Sweet! Those look great, and I wish that Bandai did those (along with the unrereleased Valks). I always thought it was stupid how no transformable Valks were made of those designs. Randy
