  1. Like Iphinome said. Try looking at Hobby Link Japan for Kotobukiya, Fujimi, and Yellow Submarine joints. They make them in all different shapes/functions. That's what they were designed for - scratchbuilding. Hope that helps. - MT
  2. Beautiful rooms and build! VERY NICE! Hang in there with the build! - MT
  3. I'm glad you're back on this. It looks awesome! Please finish it off and update us! - MT
  4. Those ARE beautiful! And I left 1/100 for 1/200. Maybe 1/100 will take me back in The grass is always greener... - MT
  5. I'm glad to see your back on it after a slight break. Out of your numbered list of improvements, I think you need a #8: Optional Garage to put said model in I'm glad to see the posts. Keep 'em coming! - MT
  6. So what's the BBQ sauce for? Thanks! I've got an old VT-1 I'm thinking of bleaching out. - MT
  7. AWESOME work! I don't do much 1/72 scale anymore, but even I'm interested. - MT
  8. 1/60th figures AND the ominous vending machine! That away to make everyone over in Asia jealous - FINALLY! I was wondering when you were going to do that! - MT
  9. It even looks good on top of the trash can Nice custom. Now you just need a bunch of deck hands waving their bandannas! - MT
  10. Nice creativity! I built a 1/72nd Bandai valk similar to that. Just one shoulder cannon though. You can never have enough armament in space - where no one can hear you scream - MT
  11. Good news! Everything of mine arrived the thousands of miles safely here and we're in a BRAND NEW HOUSE thank God! The bad news, it's so new, there won't be any communications cables to my house for the next couple of weeks to a month! I'll be working on it though in the mean time! Take care everyone! - MT
  12. That thing is basically 1/200. I had the Matchbox model too. It sure weighed enough! That mint green looking color is just not right - MT
  13. Size does matter with Macross! The F-14 looks awesome! Nice shading & lining. - MT
  14. I scratch built one in 1/100 and YES, this thing will be BIG! The 1/160 kit will not touch this size wise. I love the detail and posability if these proto pictures say anything! It's on my wich list too-always have a spare (even though I build 1/200 mostly). - MT
  15. Thanks for sharing! That's really cool! - MT
  16. Looks good UN! I won't tell if you don't! - MT
  17. If you don't follow through and put these wonderful sculpts into production, you're going to make a lot of people upset! On the other hand, if you follow through (unlike others in the past), you'll make lot's of new friends! - MT
  18. You're work is coming along at a fast pace and looking great! I think you're making some people jealous -MT
  19. Urashiman you should forget reality and "step" into some Macross kits The Mosquito is coming along nicely. One of the first "stealth" bombers! - MT
  20. I throwing in an "Amen" for earlier comments! - MT
  21. It may be SPAM, but even SPAM goes well with Asian dishes! This is a great opportunity for people who missed out on Anasazi's stuff. - MT
  22. I think the whole after market idea is awesome! It works great with cars! Something to think about dudes. Let's make some after market parts and sell them exclusively to MW members and tell the rest of the world "nanny nanny boo boo!" - MT
  23. Thanks for sharing! The flying turd looks good except for the paint on the bow area. - MT
  24. Pete, if you haven't seen Mospeda, you're missing out man! I didn't see it posted earlier, but in case anyone is interested, there's gonna be some Garfish goodness coming soon in a resin kit: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...7453&st=805 Look near the bottom of the thread. The kit will be 1/350th and around $150. - MT
  25. I just happened by this area and saw your post. I agree with the dissimilar shapes not looking good together. The first problem I saw was aerodynamics. Smooth corners and blended areas will fix that. If you want to go stealthy, just think F-22. It's angular and all the parts blend in smoothly. What you have is a good starting point! - MT
