It isn't an extra $99. They gave me a choice between $129 for the same model or $99 for a new model.

I've been laid off of work for 3 months now. During the first month my PS3 broke down. I got plenty of free hours and playing a few games would be a nice distraction. I have enough in savings but I have a limit of how much I'll spend on fun right now. A benefactor is covering the difference (plus they owed me for breaking something separate from the PS3). I filled out the repair request forms for my 60 model. Cost to repair/replace is $129. The site bring up this upgrade offer for one their newer 120 units for $99. I went with the one I have. Is Sony running low on my model or trying to get them out of people's hands altogether?

I noticed a lack of the American flag. You'd think it would be in every scene I think that for the international crowd. Watched the Non 3D version pretty easy to spot the 3D scenes. I really wished they do anyway with 3D. It Looks Gooood!

Include me in on this pricing bandwagon as well. No doubt the process of designing a toy is pricey. It could have cost them the same ammount to make both a Destroid and Valkyrie. As the consumer we look only at the finished result. A VF is 3 toys in 1. A Destroid is one toy, it doesn't transform and doesn't even have arms.

FURIOUS OVER NEW CONAN (Conan the Barbarian remake)
Roy Focker replied to Agent ONE's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Wait a minute! Conan is clearly the runt of the litter. Plus he's late to that meeting. We all know that suggest that maybe he's lazy and isn't serious, etc. Then all of the sudden this 10 year old boy kills several adult warriors? -
Question with regards to a banning
Roy Focker replied to Oihan's topic in MW Site News & Member Feedback
Without knowing who you are talking about I can only provide general information. Some Members are repeat offenders. The last offense may not have been their worst but when combined with others. Dogmatically stick to one's beliefs may show that they aren't going to be reasoned with. Often this beliefs are really off topic. In the past we had some very passionate members who would jump at the chance to defend their beliefs. We sometimes have to decide who we think can act mature enough show some self control and who will refuse to be silenced. They may have be warned during the current offense and ignored it. When you really have to get that last word in don't be surprized when someone is punished for it. -
GI Joe 30th Anniversary Line Fall 2011
Roy Focker replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I got two of them and saw 3 at a store once and haven't seen a new figure on the shelves since Feb. -
Is this the same guy who called me an a-hole for my opinion?
-
Was I just called an a-hole? That's double funny because I praised and criticized some of the designs. Gee I sounded pretty fair. Unless I'm only quoted for the a-hole part and it is double funny cause I'm a Mod.

The Southern Cross Mecha were inferior designs compared to the other two series. Now updated toy version of the body armor would be cool.

Does anyone think that narrator in the Gobots commercial sounds a little like Patrick Stewart?
-
A painted toy & figure, with interchangeable parts to create all the variant pods. Light and sounds. Plus a yamato trained cosplayer who flies all the way out from japan to instruct me on all the features and it would still be about $100 too much.

Seems too much like the old "World Longest Topic" (or whatever its name was) but in youtube form.

Haven't seen it and really don't know who the hell the Green Lantern is. Okay I lied. I remember him vaguely appearing in the Super Friends. Don't really remember what he did in that cartoon. I doubt anyone save for comic back fans know who he is. The DC line up petty much sucks in name recognition. Most people know Superman, Wonderwoman, Batman & Robin. Who is the Green Lantern? Some CGI movie of Ryan Reynolds flying around with a bunch of cgi aliens. Is that a magic promise ring on his finger? Looked like it was going to suck to me.

Well that makes sense. Professors X might be able to know what a woman wants but he's like totally dead from the waist down. Think about what kinda kinky stuff Magneto can do with those magentic powers.

G.I. Joe 2: Operation Body Massage
Roy Focker replied to VT 1010's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
He might not look the part but neither did most of the other actors. The Rock does have a screen presence. He's good to have in whatever role.- 264 replies

Saw a copy in a store and bought it. Kinda pricy but since getting laid off I haven't treatment myself to anything. Like the other 3 books this one is really nice. -

Do you always keep vasaline hand lotion near your Valks? I also see a electric razor too. That's some good mecha porn. -
