Show of hands. Who here like me had pretty much forgotten about HG and this whole debate?

We all believed the HG had access to the animation from Macross TV and BW had access to the designs. Maybe HG is thinking DYRL? has an animated VF-1 and we have animation of a VF-1 in Macross TV so we get to use the DYRL? version as well. didn't Tatsunoko do a bunch of work on DYRL? if anything, i bet it has something to do with that. Yeah their name is on some dyrl animation sheets so they were connected to the animation. I think most of us thought that they were just hired to work on it. Maybe they think they have more rights to it. or maybe they asked BW for permission

That copyright actually applies to every single Macross site on the web, including MW, and my own. In fact because of the complexity and arsey nature of copyright law Big West could conceivably demand that you stop saying the word Macross if they wanted. (I hate copyright, its a pain in the arse, and far too bloody complex.) Review "Fair Use" it allows you to use someone else's copyright (to a point) if it's for the purposes of education, criticism, review or parody.

Question Indianapolis, Indiana? Why Indiana? No offensive to the good people of Indianapolis but it isn't some city in the US that the entire world has heard about. Why not some major world known city on either the east or west coast?

I think they repeat that one it every two weeks. No need to remind people what's going to be on the History Channel. If you watch it any hour there's are bound to be some war type machine or war event being covering. Next on Modern Marvels, "Nazi slings shots, the F-14 and the hoover damn!" Next on hardcore history, "Whore houses of the civil war."

Macross II is an okay story. In the early 90's I was hooked and had out of state relatives ship episodes UPS to me. The biggest let down for me was the quality of the animation in the last two episodes. Look at episodes 3 & 4 and compare them to 5 & 6. Once the animation quality goes you have to focus more on the story which I discovered at the time was just 'okay'.

Duke did die. After the public out cry on Optimus Prime death they included a voice over that said Duke was alive.

What you haven't aired it yet and your already pursuing a TV deal?

Isn't Robotech widely available through several legal means?
