    maybe its a Gamalas gimmick. All their drenaught-classy ships have that flying Frizbee device to save their CoC's arses... the same maybe the intent for those Andy's with Hats. Thus I dub those ships... Andy's with Hats. (someone make a meme of that, please)

    Ok, going on a limb. WHY is the Galantean folks angry at Earth? My guess, either the events from the movie at cannon (and maybe someone important to Lord what's-his-face was in the movie that's now dead = REVENGE!) or the Galantean folks want our Wave Motion tech (as maybe they think taking it from our cold, dismembered hands is easier that taking it from Iscandar/Gamalos=LUST! ENVY! something...) so..... why?

    agreed... and perhaps another reason those twin Tail Hooks are mounted on the insides of each engine nacelle: Engineers noted a larger amount of stress on the tail/back rocket motor's hinges because of the VF-0 using a traditional Naval Tail hook? a really awesome VF-0 mishap diorama would be that said VF-0 with a tail separated (partially or completely) from rest of the airframe... maybe showing the damaged plane getting ready to slide off the side of the ship (with the pilot in process to punch out!) with the tail/motor assembly still caught on the #3 wire?

    2049... are we gonna have Shadow Runners (and Elves, Orcs, Dekkers, and Corporate Dragons, etc)? Seems like a good reason to tie in Shadow Run RPG with BR2... ?

    Neutral Vote, for the finale as well as the series as a whole. Yes, it was rushed after Episode 13. Yes, it seemed more aimed at teenaged girls then the typical Macross fan. AND oh yes, so many unanswered questions... So here's a few more (or at least one): Now that the good guys seem to have possession or control of the Planetary Fold Gates, does that mean travel just got faster via the Table Top thingies that are seemingly strung across that sector of space? It certainly is implied to me at the end credits when the red portal opens up... Are we certain Windermere is still at war with the NUNS? Ketchup could claim that 'Roid did it! he did it all! I just had Stockholm Syndrome!!!'?

    Hell, no. Megaroad-01 was UN Spacy, not NUNS. I don't think NUNS would ever want the M-01 to return (it's like during the Battletech 4th succession war to wish for the SLDF to return (as the Clans or otherwise)). I would imagine Misa or who ever was the colony Fleet lead to not like what the NUNS has turned into, politically. Certainly NUNS would consider M-01 to be a threat, if anything...

    I think she asked Hayate because it would be hearing his father from the grave. So it was a act of kindness that she did ask. I know the lot of state side folks seem to be MEH about SDD:MD but what is the general opinion of actual Japanese target audience (or should I say, Asian?)

    Just watched in on YT withOUT subs. Obviously I don't speak it but I guess the MDE emphasis has been intended to be references, in MD's story, to Little Boy & Big Boy's detonations in WWII?
