    I have taken pics of the 3 versions I just need to get around to processing each set, but I'll see what I can do about the lying down aiming pose.

    Hahaha, the cycle of photography tips is complete you asked me a question and I asked the same question to you. Yep, polarizers are great but they introduce a whole new set of challenges when taking dark photos. I am waiting for the weather to warm up here so I can go shoot some landscapes, especially bodies of water that's where polarizers really shine or lack of shine. Nice, yep once you are in a particular system its hard/expensive to jump to a different system. At work a few of my co-workers bought camera (yes, the blame me for their purchases too) and 2 already had cameras. So right now there are 4 Canon, 2 Sony and 1 Nikon. Thanks yeti! I am hoping Bandai reissue it too.

    Great shot, I like! As for the backpack hinges, the line art shows them angled towards the back like you said. I did that but I didn't like it , so I go with the slightly angled forward because it fills out the shoulders, allows you angle mid shoulder piece high and gives the battroid more of a heroic V shape in the torso. Is the gun on your VF-25G matte coated? BTW I am finishing up processing VF-25G pics. How's the new lighting working out? Nikons are great cameras, you can't go wrong with either. I went with Canon because it was what I learned on. *whispers" stick with Canon

    I didn't have the skull stickers on the strike/super parts until I got one set with the Hikaru skulls placed and the sheet was damaged . So I decided to use skulls on that sheet for everyone else, couldn't have just 1 squadron members with emblems.

    Looks like a mod took care of that... for you. LOL! I have a new title! Hey, I just showed you possibilities for cameras. I just take pictures and show everyone possibilities... which lead to purchases. In the end everyone is happy..

    Thank you and yes I will be taking a DYRL Skull Squadron group shot eventually. I have a few other Valk pics to take before I get to it. Glad you like it.

    Thank you Scyla! The YF-25 color scheme is not my favorite but it does photograph extremely nicely. That is the not the first time I have read that. Falcon the is book is always in the back of my head. My favorite paint scheme is the Roy/Ozma scheme, but YF-25 is the nicest to photograph. I have a Gundam Fix Figuration Deep Striker in my collection still in it box. I am guilty again of getting people to buy something. That should somehow become my forum member title.

    Thanks no3ljm! Thanks spanner! Its different, i like the detail with the internal behind the dome. They do but only used by prototypes. Its is one of the photogenic of the 25 series. Mine is going back into it box to make room in the display cases.

    Wait, you took one of its box? Because it wouldn't surprised me if you were swooshing around the Valk still in the box. jk!! I swooshed them all as I was setting them up for the picture. The nice thing about the cutting mat is it gives you a grid so you can line everything up nicely. Thanks Abbadon! Each VF-1 of this squadron was bought from a MW member (remember each member too), except for Roy VF-1S which I bought from Manda. Thanks Moosey! Thank you Mazinger. Got bored and wanted to add one more to the Squadron shots.

    Awesome display spanner! I am still jealous of your lights. If I am ever in your area, I'll let you know so I can stop by and behold the Nerdery in person. Very nice display JET7! I commend you on lending your toy collection out for display, I am not sure If I would be able to lend my toys to a convention to display. During my the import car days, I'd have all my friends standing by my car to make sure nothing happened to it. Looks like you had a Stormtrooper standing guard so nothing would happen to you display, unless a bunch of Ewoks rushed him. Mission complete! I have a real DYRL Skull Squadron now, VF-1S Focker, VF-1A Ichijo. VF-1A Jenius and VF-1A Kakizaki. Until now, I was using VF-1S for Max and Hikaru. Here are some quick shots. You can also see some of my TF collection, they watching the growing numbers Valks.

    It would be nice to have standing in scale mini figs to go along with the Valks, but the way pilots are painted with the Bandai valks they just look like blobs if they could a better job like the Yamato/Arcadia pilot figs it would so much nicer. It was a fun thing to pair them together. I normally don't get the idol figures I stick with mecha but for the Yamato figs I kinda bent my rules. Noted, I'll remember to post the pics if any in the figure thread.

    Thank you Lolicon much appreciated. I took a look they both look great and from what I have read they are both 1/8th scale so they'll match up to the Yamato 2199 girls. I'll need to think about it now.

    @asianed Welcome and great shots. Now my question to my fellow MW members. I don't have any Macross figures other than the petite Nendos but I considering getting just a few Macross girls, namely Minmei, Sheryl and Ranka. Which static figures would you suggest? Hopefully they are not bank breakers.

    Strangely I don't have any of the female figs from Macross, unless you count the petite Nendos. I would do damage to my wallet to picking Walkure figures just so I could do Idol x VF-31 pics for you guys. On that note, maybe I should pick up some of Macross girls figures.
