  1. I would love to know as well. Maybe they can't figure out how to make the dish work.
  2. I was just listing the options that seemed most likely for 1/48. I like the VF-11, but I doubt they'd do one in 1/48. I actually wish they'd release non-super Max/Miria VF-1J and VF-1D in 1/48. Also: VE-1 or VT-1.
  3. Maybe Hasegawa will decided to do one right after Wave releases theirs.
  4. Ya the Rollout 001 wasn't sold through normal channels. I don't know the specifics of its release, but I got mine through Y!J auctions.
  5. Same. I actually really like these decal variant releases. Especially the ones inspired by real world units.
  6. I dig it too. I'll get one for sure. There's a lot of other VFs out there, but it seems like Hasegawa is sticking to stuff that's shown up in the shows/movies. The only one that really baffles me is the lack of VF-171 since there's multiple versions and it's in multiple shows (I think). Seems like it would be worth doing. I can't really see Hasegawa doing obscure video game and artbook stuff. That said, I really wish they'd get around to the following: Tornado Messiah (at least it showed up in a movie) Armored VF-25 YF-29 Durandal (at least it showed up in a movie, also) YF-30 Chronos Armored VF-31 (actually I wish Bandai would do this too) VF-2SS Valkyrie II (at least it was in a show)
  7. The Wave VF-4 is all we have for now so I'm not complaining. But I did think the panel lines were a bit thicker, the details a little less refined, compared to Hasegawa VFs. Did anyone make a PE detail set for the VF-4?
  8. All I can say is... it's about time. Too bad it's not Hasegawa though. #1 because the detailing would be more delicate, #2 because knowing Hasegawa, we could look forward to some cool variations and different unit decal repops down the road. But still, I'll take what I can get. I guess we're getting at least 2 boxings out of this? The blue-green one and the beige one?
  9. This is great news for me since I've been wanting to grab an extra 1 or 2 Black Aces kits.
  10. Very cool boxart! I keep buying these decal variant repops, hoping Hasegawa will eventually feel like spending the money on a brand new mould...
  11. With all these re-issues, I wish they'd re-issue the Theo/Xao custom Draken III. Have had no luck finding one for a reasonable price.
  12. If you call 2011 'new' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not saying they need to replace the VF-11 mouldings, I'm just saying it'd be nice to see a new fighter type instead of the mass of decal variants we've gotten lately. The VF-31 debuted in 2017 so I guess that's the most recent 'new' moulding.
  13. I'd even be content with a partial new mould. Super VF-31, Gerwalk VE-1/VT-1/VF-1D, Armored VF-25... But VF-17/VF-171 is and will be the dream.
  14. Very nice but.... time for a new mould please, Hasegawa?
  15. The Reina Prowler VF-31E is out now... https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-vf-31e-siegfried-reina-prowler-color-macross-delta-the-movie-hsg65862
  16. And it's easiest for them to do VFs (fighter mode) because they have extensive experience with doing aircraft of all kinds. I am happy if they would fill up the major remaining gaps in the VF line.
  17. When was the last time Hasegawa released an all-new valkyrie moulding? Feels like they've been milking the VF-31 for ages. And still no supers.
  18. Thanks for the clarification. I've never watched Macross 7 or had any kits/toys of the red VF-19 so I didn't know it was so different. Overall I think I'd rather have a VF-171 series first.
  19. I would have thought the red VF-19 would be a no-brainer for them to do. It's not very different from the existing YF-19 kit, is it? (But seriously, why hasn't Hasegawa done VF-31 supers yet??)
  20. I'd be happy with: VF-2S/VF-2SS VF-171 & variants Armored VF-25 series Super VF-31 series more battroids....
  21. What's the point of labeling the kit an 'E' if it doesn't include the parts that make an 'E'? Hopefully the parts are in the kit.
