I mean, it would make sense. But they are pretty slow on 1/48 releases. The last VF-1 boxing variation was released in November 2022 I think. I don't think I've seen many custom VF-1Ds in either fighter or battroid mode. Got anything you can share? While 1/48 VF-1D seems like the easiest thing to pop out next, I'm still also hoping for 1/48 YF-21, especially after it was featured in the box art for the 1/48 YF-19 with fast packs. But I'm not too hard to please, I'd also be cool with 1/48 marking variations for Minmay Guard or Minmay Special.

Yeah. I've seen some Gundam Master Grade box arts where different boxes combine to make a larger scene. Pretty cool.

I did pre-order both the TV Rau and the VT-1 Gerwalk. Originally I had thought to order 2 of the VT-1 if it can be built 2 ways... but if it's just full gerwalk with arms out or half gerwalk with arms tucked, I think I can just stick with 1 copy. I'm not super enthused about green TV Rau since this would be my 4th Rau kit... but I do like the TV head better. I'm actually much more interested in the VT-1 gerwalk. Nice to see them expanding the gerwalk range. Lack of super parts on it kinda makes me think they won't be doing a VE-1 gerwalk, which is a shame. I know the back parts and head are different, but don't they use the same leg armor? Also, since this is modeled on a specific scene in the movie, and we never see the VE-1 transform in the movie, that also makes me think a gerwalk VE-1 is unlikely. Also: gerwalk VT-1 before VF-1D battroid. 🤪 Really hope they fill this gap in their battroid lineup after the plamax VF-1D battroid is no longer shiny and new. I'm a little surprised they're doing this gerwalk before expanding on the gerwalk VF-0 series... I hope the vf-0s w/ ghost sold well enough to guarantee more gerwalk VF-0 options. Would love a gerwalk VF-0D or VF-0A!

One of the Macross Option Decal sets from Hasegawa had markings for a nice alternate Super Ostrich scheme. Granted, those decal sets are hard to get now. I think it was an overall creamy beige scheme with some unique squadron markings. Probably originated in Model Graphix?

I think they missed a cool opportunity by not having this box art and mirias box art be 2 halves of one super cool large artwork.

There was a bunch of RE/100 kits that were teased but never came out. A couple things eventually saw the light of day as MGs while others disappeared entirely.

Other things have been announced or teased that never actually came out. So I'll sleep easiest when the pre-orders pop up.

You know, I'm digging these DX set versions. I wish they'd done something similar for YF-19/YF-21/VF-22/YF-29/Fire Valkyrie kits.

I can't seem them doing the VF-31F as an exclusive. Maybe a lil Drakken equipped version. They skipped the VF-31E in 1/72 but I think that's just because of the dish complications. Hoping the VF-31E will also be standard release since its a parts former. VF-31A, I could see as an exclusive. Especially since it wasn't teased alongside the others.

Fingers crossed we're still getting all 5.

I have so much stuck there. I'm glad they are suspending the 6th month storage limit, but still... who knows when I'll be able to get my stuff.

Even without the tariff issues, my optimism is low. I'm kinda surprised they are showing the VF-25 when they haven't done all the VF-31s yet. I wonder if they're going to release all the VF-31s rapidly before the first VF-25 release, or if they'll be coming out with overlapping release schedules, or if we just won't get all the VF-31s after all?

My sets came in as well. Picked up 4 sets. Not enough to equip all my fighters though. Hopefully pick up more later.

Unsurprisingly HLJ did not bestow me with any of the standard VF-31, VF-31 deluxe, or VF-31 decals that I pre-ordered. Same old story. Did not get the MGSD Aerial Gundam I pre-ordered either. I don't even know why they bother with pre-orders on Bandai items any more. They must get ridiculously low stock. Doesn't matter if it's Gundam, Macross, or Armored Core. None of my pre-orders ever yield results anymore.

Uh... I just realized HLJ now has the weapons set marked as discontinued. I guess it did get released and HLJ couldn't fill all orders? Did anyone else get a set? Thinking I need to shop around and buy a set or 2 or 3 elsewhere.

Yes, the sprues contain parts that are supposed to be 2 different colors on the kit. So they have to provide the sprue in both colors. Of course they wouldn't need to do this (and save us some $$) if everyone still painted...

It's really just Bandai stuff that's a problem for me. I get all my Hasegawa, Wave, Max Factory, Kotobukiya, Moderoid, Our Treasure, Tamiya, Aoshima, Fujimi, Hobby Japan pre-orders with no problems.

It's just really hard to get anything Bandai from HLJ now. I have a big list of items I pre-ordered super early and never got. And wound up canceling pre-order when I got the item at a local store. This goes for Gundam (never got RG Shining or MGSD Wing or MG Vidar or MG Narrative C-Packs and many others), this goes for Macross (have pre-ordered every HG 1/100 valk and I think I only got one YF-21 and one Fire Valkyrie - my VF-22 Max and Miria pre-orders are still sitting unfulfilled, and my older pre-orders are canceled), and this goes for Armored Core (I pre-ordered everything from the 30mm ACVI line, and the only ones ever fulfilled were the quad leg unit and one of the weapon sets).

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I have a lot that needs shipping. So it's either rush to ship everything now, which will for sure cost a ton to ship everything at once, or sit it out and see how things go, let some stuff rest in the private warehouse, and risk having to pay even more with tariffs factored in when I finally DO ship.
