Actually we who work on the E model just call them CFTs. I have yet to hear anyone call it a fast pack. They are a pain in the butt too. Cause more problems than they are worth with all the leaks and such.

I see Vader as p!%% off at himself now about all his decisions and still being alive. I get the feeling that he either wants to end it all or redeem himself in some way but cant. That is until episode 6 when he is given the chance for redemption. The guard scene was influenced by the gunshot scene in Raiders.

Cool thing is that camo actually looks like somethig you would see on a pod like that.

From nose to tail its only about 6 inches but the wing span is almost a foot. At first when your building it looks kind of small. Then it looks better after the wings are installed. The weathering is nowhere near done yet I still have to chip the paint up then add a few more streaks.

By the way it is the high sidewall one too

Just for contrast to the red im thinking of making the R2 unit green with the smaller panels on him in white.

I tend to weather in layers so that way i get scratches in grease streaks and i get grease streaks over the scratches. Next step is to scratch it up a little to make it look battle hardened. I also cut open the windows on the fuselage next to the second seater. In person it looks alot better than the dark grey panels painted on it. sorry for the blurr its the best focus i could get being so close.

I still have to repaint the guns, and add the red rings to the intakes.

here ya go guys my ARC 170. I have added a little detail in the cockpit, repainted it and started weathering. Oh yeah i also made an R2 unit for it.

I could make the same thing using MSword and post it on the internet too. I just read what seems like an elaborate fanfic that heavily reused old ideas.

Did anyone else think that the SBDs were more intimidating when they didnt talk? That and the voices didnt match at all. Also why does a droid need o make a death moan like most did at the beginning of the film. I just watched it again tonight with the wife and even she felt that alot of the droid lines were completely unnecessary. A good example was mentioned earlier with the one droid saying excuse me as it went by its captives and then saying your welcome to Grevious when he snatches the Lighsabers from its hands. What was the point of it all droids (aside from R2 and 3PO) dont need to be humanised

I know fan films are touch and go at best but some of the better ones (I.M.P.S.) show that a TV series could be done easily and well. If they do a post EP3 series following he development of characters like Han and Lando wouldnt be too bad an idea. The problem you run into is coming up with ideas to span 18 years of time in the story and not get bland like star trek.

Finally got a US version of the game shipped to me. Overall not too bad. The grevious fight gives you way more than the movie did. The gameplay reminds me alot of LOK Defiance. Hack and slash to recieve FMV or movie clips as your reward.

They would have to pick a version. The book "Rise of Evil" has the abduction scene in it as well as the cartoon. The only 2 constants in either is the fact that hovertrains are involved and Windu Fracks Grevious up. Not totally contradicting mind you but a little off kilter.

You have to admit that lucas did cross that line between EP2 and 3 with alot of character info. Too much happens in the books and clone wars cartoon that isnt expl,ained in the movie.

From what i remember not all of the ARC fighters had R2units installed. Im going to make one for mine none the less. Im also cuting open the windows for the second seater.The 2 wedge shaped depressions in the fuselage by the econd guy are supposed to be windows.
