Actually tisinc's raised prices on most of the 1/48s he's got in stock. I think the only ones he hasn't increased yet are the TV Super VF-1Js. I know he's getting $175 for the Hikaru VF-1S now. The Hikaru VF-1A and Hikaru VF-1J have both gone up like $5 each.

Personally, I think it's pretty fugly. I'm glad there's only three; those are too nasty to spread around. They may as well have made them Pepto Bismal pink or baby-puke yellow. As far as a possible eBay auction is concerned, I would expect the price to be outrageous. And I wouldn't be surprised to see counterfeit ones pop up. Hopefully the real ones have some kind of certificate of authenticity. And how would you go about panel-lining it? LOL!

I see that some of you use Castrol Super Clean to remove paint from your valks. I have a couple of questions. First, I was wondering if this discolors the white plastic at all? Second, how well does it get paint out of panel lines? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Back in the day, the "Robotix" sets were pretty cool. You know, kinda like a cross between a plastic Erector set and Legos with octagonal connection points. They also had electric motors for making toys with motion and had G.I. Joe-sized action figures. Each set had all the stuff to make several different vehicles, weapons, etc. If you had them all, you could make some pretty crazy stuff.

RT.com doesn't really care if you complain about Toynami's products, just so long as you don't mention any non HG-licensed products. For example, they'll ban you for simply saying that the MPCs are crap compared to Yamato 1/48s. They don't like seeing Yamato's name on their site since HG makes no money from their products. Apparently it's in the site's rules and regulations, so they banned me. Or maybe it was because I called them fascists (and many other colorful and vulgar names) when they removed my original post. HG can eat my shorts and ask for seconds.

Now I'm torn... give up 1/48s for Galaxy Defenders? It's such a close call! Of course, I wouldn't buy this one. I'd get the one with the bubble-maker, instead.

LOL! Actually that is a pretty neat paint scheme (or lack of it). Plain Jane VF-1A. You should've said it was a custom Alaska Base paint job.
