  1. If Toynami ever releases the add on fast packs for Max, I'll buy them and a Max. Otherwise, I'll just keep my money especially if the ones that come with fast packs are "weathered" b/c I hate that look as much as I hate "battle damage".

  2. Does MH also plan on releasing Houquet and Yellow's ride armor?

Well, at an convention (the same one with the mock-up invid and mint figure), the background has images of CAD drawings (at least I think they are CAD drawings) of all four ride armors, so I'd assume they plan to make them, especially if these sell well. Honestly, they may be done and are just waiting to announce them since so much stuff is coming out all at once that they may just be avoiding any kind of confusion while giving people's wallets time to recover.

  3. Checked Cartoon Network's schedule. Seems today's ep (which I haven't seen yet) is the last new episode for awhile.

Actually, the episode next week is a repeat, then it's a new episode (at least as far as normal airing goes) b/c Total Meltdown was skipped and only available on demand or via people pirating it to Youtube. So it's not really all that long of a wait for a new episode. From other boards, it's supposed to be more new episodes for all of February after that one repeat.

  4. Well since I'm getting one, I sure hope that when they come out every one continues to complain about this. That will just give Toycrapy another reason not to make theirs (like that's going to happen anyway). Then 10 years from now when CMS's was the only one that came out with the Legioss/TREAD, I will sell mine to one of thoese guys that was waiting for the Toycrapy one for $3000.00. + S&H. Oh yes I said Handeling.

Or it could go down in price b/c so few people bought them at those high prices that they have to clearance them out...

  5. Anyone going to Wonderfest and want to pick one up for me? Heh, probably couldn't afford one anyway though after the "exclusive" mark-up that would be charged for it even if it originally was 1900Yen for being a convention exlcusive...

But that core drill that comes with it is cool!

Edit: This is a pic of the drill that I found on the net that's supposed to come with the wonderfest GL.

  6. Found this on a financial website. Quite funny I thought.

Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and

the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan.

In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up

and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will

likely go for a song while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended

    after they nose-dived.

While Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja

Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report

that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared

that staff may get a raw deal.

There is also concern over the fate of Kimono Bank which, it is believed, has been hung out to dry, whilst Ming Bank fear this to be the end of a dynasty.

However; and on a positive note Rickshaw Bank, say they have put wheels in motion to prevent the situation completely running away with them.

    That's great! lol!

  7. If you want a Dark Legioss, your only bet right now is either a Toynami MPC Sue Graham Shadow Fighter or the Toynami Shadow Fighters from the Shadow Chronicles movie.

But if you're wanting the original Dark Legioss from the original Mospeada series, the MPC Sue Graham is the only way to go because they changed the design and coloring of the Shadow Fighter for the Shadow Chronicles movie. It's now marked like the Blue and Green Legioss (Only with dark colors and the white accents) and has their style intakes too.

Don't forget the female pilot of the show that has her Alpha trimmed in pink that was shown at one of the toy shows awhile back.

  8. I'm sorry, but you're just laughably wrong there. Bias has absolutely nothing to do with toys that have parts breaking, parts already broken out of the box, poor paintjobs, terrible parts-fit, parts assembled incorrectly and loose joints. There have been overwhelming accounts of those problems, and that's just the flat out truth. Your comment pretty much ignores all of the photos that have been posted over the last few years. Or perhaps the cameras were just extremely biased? <_<

I own one Alpah from them and it has some QC issues like the front end not sitting flat in jet mode. There are other problems too. Good Toynami Alpha's are the oddball ones and anyone who has 4 that are in great shape is extremely lucky.

  9. It won't change your rank or skill levels. But if you and your buddies pick a language that nobody else uses, then matchmaking will most likely hook you all up in the same games. The only problem is, your achievements will be listed in whatever language you used when you got them. You still get the points (and the sword) though.

I'd also like to do some ranked Team Slayer if we could get four good players together. It might be one way to reach level 50. I'm stuck at 40 in Lone Wolves.

In case anyone wants to add me, my gamertag is protostar888 on xbox live. I really only get to play some on the weekends thanks to college being a ton of work this semester, but I was one of the best back in the early to middle Halo 2 days and I'm decent at Halo 3 (at least the clan I was part of used to be great when we played together).

  10. Are you using LDD, or a fan made design program? LEGO makes ball and socket joints, as well as ratcheting joints (Exo-Force type). Unfortunately, they aren't included in the LDD Factory parts pallette. You can use parts from certain Creator and MindStorms sets, but a model using parts outside of the Factory pallette can neither be uploaded nor purchased from the factory site. The sparse pallette and a few parts alignment/interlocking issues are the major limitations to what is otherwise a good program, and a good marketing tool for LEGO. However, even with its limitations, the new version of LDD is far better than its predecessor. Fanmade programs offer a lot more flexibility, but are dependent on newer parts being created and uploaded into the program, and generally are a little more complex.

I'm using MLCAD and I really didn't see too many ratchet type joints and I saw one ball and socket joint, but I could easily be overlooking them somewhere in that program.

  11. Okay, I SOLVED the parts aligning incorrectly problem!!! If you highlight all the parts you want (or the entire model), you can hit a little button at the top that looks like a grid called "snap to grid", this forces all parts to align to the grid and made my parts all fit together perfectly with no gaps left. I would SAVE before doing this just in case it doesn't work like it did on mine (I'm building a Beta Fighter).

What's a good way to make a joint for a lego creation??? (potentially one that would move in three dimensional space like a ball joint instead of just a ratcheting joint)

  12. Has anyone else had trouble with the pieces not centering/fitting correctly??? Sometimes I can't get blocks to orient together correctly b/c one piece will be slightly shifted one way or the other and it leaves a little gap between blocks almost like the program suddenly glitched and forgot that pieces fit together perfectly.

  13. We still don't know what "extras" Stick will get yet, too early to think he won't get something special.

Atleast i can't understand why they would do that! : /

I could completely imagine him coming with nothing special since he's going to be the character everyone wants anyway (or at least the most popular character). So if I was the company, I'd have to ask myself why I would want to spend extra money to include "extras" if the toy would sell just as well without them and it would force people to buy the other guy to get the "extras".

  14. Hmmm... i must get those weapon set!!!

if they're only avail in japan, then i'd try to get some deputy service to get them for me.

anyone from SG? maybe we can share the cost (not sure how much atm). but i already pre-ordered both megahouse bikes, so...

BTW, i dunno if it was mentioned before - the megahouse mospeada's accessories box is only avail for Rey's set, whereas for CMS the storage boxes come with both. also, megahouse's Rey's set come with these:

    photo05fu0.jpg

Wow, they went all the way with accessories for him while Stick got the shaft (no pun intended). I'm still up in the air over which one to get (I learned today that the $60 I'll be saving by only getting one is going towards the Omega Supreme re-issue). I'm really leaning more towards Rei b/c he comes with lots of extras and honestly, Stick's rifle probably won't be hard to make and some armor plates w/ little rock pods aren't a huge deal either (considering they are basically flat panels with two tubes glued on).
