Only if you want to add a Hasegawa cockpit like I am. I could probably make it non detatchable, but I don't mind doing it this way, and I think it will look better. have you tried using the hasegawa nose in battroid mode? does it stick out too much?

fulcy was combining the cockpit pictures the last time i remembered. he should post them up when hes done. i know i would definitely love to have those!!!

Well, from the looks of it, we can almost make both designs (the desert bg/black bg). I'll try to get scans of the lineart battroids asap. Hopefully Paul has a nice mock-up waiting for us. Its been a while. Are there hi res scans for the 2 cockpits? I'm kinda partial to the design with those in there yeah, oddly enuf, those were one of first hi res scans that we knew we had.

YAY! I think the only picture we're missing now is the schematic lineart pictures of the yf-19/21 in fighter mode. doh, still need the macross plus triangle and the trio triangle.

I'm sold on this one. If it's produced, I'll definately get it. Actually, the YF-19 looks strange upside down, it should be rotated to match the YF-21. i'll make the changes if we can even use that layout and we can have people vote on it.

i might be able to get scans of the lineart battroids. dunno about anything else tho. i have the book with the lineart battroids in it, i just gotta find a someone with a scanner.

No one is going to take that away from you. It isnt like all the versions of the old SDF Macross is going to disappear. Thats the reason I'm for it and the way I see it. If its redone, then its just something extra for us Macross fans. I dont see the harm done in that.

But I LIKE the original character designs. And DYRL's flightsuits just look lame to me. My dream Macross is the TV show we have now, only with all the animation done to the same quality as the title sequence, and without Global Report(waste of a perfectly good episode slot...). oooh... hehe... that wasnt what i meant when i said DYRL. i meant the animation, u know, more detailed, smoother, etc. not the suit.

yep. some of those are pictures that either noel or someone else took at the wonderfestival. theyre 1/72 resin kits. damn nice imo.

Why do people always want to go back to die cast? Paint chipping and reduced poseability due to floppy or overly weighted parts is not my idea of a good toy. I'm so glad the 1/48 valks have no die cast. They are so much better for it. it makes people feel better cuz its metal. these are the most poseable destroids ive seen and already im happy with em. if yamato makes anything like this, i'll be all over them.

im for it if ONLY nothing is changed. i mean NOTHING. just improve the animation, make the characters look like DYRL and since ur already planning it, CG the valks. besides that... imo, NO adding scenes, NO changing camera angles, etc, none of that. if thats what you had in mind... i say, im all for it. if that was ur plan, i dont see why people would be against it. its a fan thing. it'll just be for us fans that wants it to enjoy. it isnt like we're going to market it and have it hit american tv and so on and so forth. riiiiight? im pretty sure i can show it to a friend or two that might be able to draw them into macross. hehehe...
