Maybe the nail polish doesn't have the durability for long term use.. nail polish are mostly acrylic and soft enough to wipe off with alcohol. I was considering trying automotive 2K clear with a hardener and see how that works. Shouldn't be too hard to get hold of seeing as I work in a panelshop..
im just gonna use the standard issue articulated hands.. I don't like those optional big puffy hands at all.. looks like they were stung by something and they got all swollen..
although... now that I think about it, its not so crazy actually! I have 4 pre-orders open at the moment totaling 7 items! And.. im considering a few other items too!
Hey Saburo you reckon you could email me a copy of your spreadsheet template!?
Like very much! A pity I don't have these parts to do this myself.. Tornado parts are cheap but another set of Armors will break the already broken bank!
Awesome! Some said that it didn't fit!? I assume a little bit of forceful yet gentle encouragement was needed to clip it on yes!?
So now im definitely gonna get me a set of 25G supers for my YF-25!
Supers for my 25G arrived this morning.. slapped em on then a quick reshuffle of the display! looks kick ass!
might end up getting Supers for all my VF-25 lot!
still not cheap by any means at nearly 70k jpy.. even for "A" condition.. im still getting mixed results when buying from Jungle going by their product condition grading system..
The last lot of stuff I got from them being my son's renewal 25G & Supers were listed as "A" & "Sealed" respectively.. the 25G had clearly been used going against Jungles "A" grading but overall was ok with only a slightly floppy left shoulder and somewhat loose-ish ankles but its still can stand up ok. And.. the "Sealed" supers were contrary to the grading not "Sealed".. again they had clearly previously been used/fitted but thankfully were still in good condition and don't fall off.. Personally I feel they need to re-think their grading system something closer to the AmiAmi system or just be more upfront with the items condition.
hehe! yeah I guess that was the case.. I'll admit they were pretty cool back in the day and definitely a better proportioned Valkyrie than the 1/55 were but there were a few things that bugged the crap outta me about them.. mostly the transformation which was I always thought was a step backwards compared to the older 1/55.. especially the leg system for battroid mode was not cool..
but hey there's no point living in the past as we now have way way waaaayyyy more cooler toys to enjoy so who cares right!
I would imagine you would have to use some kind of plastic filler or a certain type of glue perhaps that you can fill the hole in entirely and re-drill a new hole so the screw can thread in again..
There are plenty of knowledgeable folks in here who would know a lot more about this than I do and im sure someone will give you the advice / direction you need!
I got to give my son his 25G and supers over the weekend.. was helping him setup a pose for his display! I think we did pretty well! looks really bad ass!
Yes the crotch cover piece has been deliberately left off.. my son's choice as he prefers the non super crotch piece. As do I!
I liked the results so much I went and re-purchased a set of supers for my 25G! (kicks own shin for stupidly selling set off parts earlier..)
Hehe! Gotta say i pretty much feel the same about the v1.. Glad i sold em all off.. no regrets! The v2 were such a radical step forward that the first time i held one im my hand i was light headed for days from all the blood rushing to my old fella and away from my brain!
nice parts buys! im thinking about getting the VF-1 parts.. just gotta find an available set!
last few buys from Mandarake I have noticed that listings are just duplicated with the noted condition carried over.. there may be damage even if very slight but I guess they have a lot of items to list and get lazy..
