My little brother got Breakaway, and I was pretty impressed with him. He has almost perfect ankle articulation, prioritizing the ankle-roll over a ball joint!

Been doin toy customs lately instead of models, but I'm really proud of this guy, who jumped on and off the bench in a single night! I LOVE finally having an airbrush, and cannot figure out why I didn't get one sooner: More stuff on my site! EDIT: Cain, you've turned those Gasha figs into true display pieces! Can't wait to see the latest one finished up. This is probably a stupid question, but are you going off a reference like the studio model, or just adding your own little touches? The different greys and silvers all look amazing together!

I do LOVE the Omega Prime/God Figure Convoy pair, as well as the Car Bros and JRX! Magnus was one of my first modern TFs after losing touch with the Beast stuff and he's sweet. Maggy only gets better once you get Fire Convoy!

Hmmm... well, I'm pretty sure the ver.Ka came out looong before the stands. I suppose the one in the pic could be a 1.5. The newer kits are coming with slots for the stand connector, like on the Zaku 2.0 IIRC.

Which connector are you using? Doesn't the display stand come with a couple of different 'tips' for attaching to an unsuspecting model's rear?

Yeah, it's been the plan for a while... I've got one of the last sets of Moon Act decals Anasazi put out, and have been hording them, even tho I know people have been looking for them. I'm getting better with my new airbrush, so maybe it'll get done soon. I've gotta look thru some of the old threads about what needs to be sanded and such on a 1/48... I've never done a full 1/48 repaint, only detailing.

As a side note, the designer for the GP-01/FB (and I think others) in Stardust Memories (my FAVORITE Gundam designs, and close second series to 08th) is none other than Shoji Kawamori That explains the 'different' yet eerily familiar look to all the crazy prototype designs in 0083.

Pete, do a search on the boards, John's thread about it should still have the pics. I stupidly bought a colored kit, and sorely regret it... I'm planning on making mine a Minmei Guard scheme, and would much rather have an uncolred kit so it doesn't show thru orange and tan where it chips.

Awesome pic Pete. I still haven't opened my Encore Trailbreaker, but I have the earlier reissue of Hoist, and that is a fun mold. It's kinda weird, I used to harp on about how the first wave pre-movie G1 stuff was the best, with all the Microchange figs and everything, but as I grew older, I started to see more and more of the appeal of Season 3 and beyond stuff. Figures like God Ginrai are among my favorites now, for their added playability and durability compared to the pre-movie Diaclone-type stuff.

Or the Catapault K2, I think.

I'm surprised how chunky Sideswipe is... I may end up buying his deluxe to repaint... isn't there a red version coming? This morning I won Rabbicrater, the special Micromaster that was packed in with the original Transformers:Zone OVA VHS! I'm so stoked to win such an obscure little guy. Got some much bigger stuff ending tomorrow that I have my eye on, and I paid for a loose complete Go Shooter this morning on TFW. ROTF may have sucked, but it's got me back in the TF saddle! Too bad I have zero shelf space for Transformers right now... Stupid quasi-1/60 Scale battle shelf takes up alot of space

Haha, I wish it was the upcoming Moscato kit. Sadly, it isn't, and side by side I bet there'd be ALOT of differences. I believe this kit is undersized for the scale, as there's NO way the Moscato Zentraedi figure would fit in the cockpit, abbreviated buttocks or no. There IS a rough cockpit under the red canopy, which I never finished, and you'd barely fit a figure larger that a Yamato 1/48 human pilot in there. Thanks for all the comments! I'm glad this big guy has been so well received... he takes up so damn much space on my crowded shelves!

I've been having issues as well. I'm in New York tho, and we don't ever get anything done either!

Yeah, MW4's handling of the different flavor weapon slots was pretty good, but the amount of slots could be limiting. I liked MW3's open-ness, because I could make my sniper Anihilator, even if in Classic Battletech Style, it'd have never worked!

Battletech was my first minis game, right before it became 'Classic'. I do really love the pre-Clan tech level, even tho the post-Clan super tech IS alot of fun to play with... My biggest nitpick questions: Will Pulse Lasers fire like laser machine guns as they did in MW4, or continuous beams as in MW3? And, can we FINALLY get the option to load our LBX-ACs with Frag or Slug ammo? It always sounds so awesome in the books when someone gets trounced by an LBX-AC20 Slug shot!
