    This VF-19 Advance is pretty sweet looking. It looks like the combined that Excelsus mod kit with a VF-25 super pack and a YF-19

    I'm assuming that's the same 1/72 kit I have from Italieri, I can send you the door if you like. I don't plan on building mine, I bought it just for reference.

    Ugh, so far not much happening on YahooJP I figured I'd be able to get some of these full plane kits. Well all I can do is hope for summer.

    She's mighty purty, that's how I like to see em, like they just rolled out of the factory.

    Yeah I presented it to him, he flew up to my place so he couldn't take it with him. That gives me more time to add details. It brought up a lot of emotions for him, i.e., beeming with pride that I'd spent so much time and effort creating this for him to such precise detail (he's a mechanical engineer) but also remembering being 19 and seeing the flight deck lined with black body bags etc...

    It's really cool, hopefully if they went through the trouble of getting the license and producing it they would refine the model a bit and make it look more like the animation.

    Here's some in progress shots, everything in white styrene or brass I added to the original kit. (since they don't make a model of this ship). Oh and those aren't decals on the flight deck. I had to make the entire radar mast from scratch.
